I was playing Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth like 10mins ago but I got so fucking bored! Its been nothing but poorly rendered NPCs saying the same three lines over and over "Spread out!" "Search the area!" "Find him!"
And its been like that non-stop for like 2 hours of gameplay now. And to make matters worse I have no fucking clue what's going on. I mean I do, technically, because I've read a bunch of Lovecraft. So I know about Dagon and cults and monster breeding yadda yadda.
But none of that is being explain in the game, which to a "layman" must being very frustrating. And the game keeps trying to make me care about random people. Like they made a big deal of some chick getting killed leading me to a church and I was all like "Oh no! Not Asset_Dame_001A! She was my favorite means-to-an-end asset that could have easily been replaced with a map for all the good she did to the plot!"
I hate to break it to you but the early game is the best part. Once you get to the halfway point, the game turns into a really crappy FPS, except in much the same way that the fallout games were FPS's. What makes it worse is that the 2nd half should have been the best part, showing the Federal raid on Innsmouth that was briefly mentioned in the original story. Unfortunately, trying to make it a shooter without good shooter mechanics and some really terrible, game breaking bugs pretty much ruined the game.

There's also a bit on a Coast Guard ship which annoyed the crap out of me because I was in the Navy at one point and it's incredibly obvious that the people who made the game didn't even bother to do cursory research on any of the military stuff(which is kind of a problem when you start putting military stuff central to your game).

I'm a big lovecraft fan and really, really wanted to like Dark Corners of the Earth. There's hints of a great game there, but it's so deeply buried under piles of crap I just can't enjoy it.

At least it's better then Prisoner of Ice was.

Currently playing Final Fantasy IX on the PS3 and alternating between Arcanum and Borderlands 2 on the PC. Really digging Final Fantasy IX(especially since it's my first time through and my first Final Fantasy after VII), but kind of so-so on Arcanum and Borderlands 2. Arcanum is interesting but feels rather overly complicated and clunky(I grew up on the first two fallout, and I'm really trying not to compare them), while Borderlands 2 is generally fun but kind of hard to keep engaged in, since much of the game's draw at the moment is "Get better guns, shoot a bunch of dudes so get even better guns so you can shoot even more dudes". Which is fine, but I can only take so much of that. Strangely, Killing crazy space rednecks isn't quite as engaging as I'd hoped.

At the moment? Nothing as I have to go to work in about 30 minutes.

Tonight I will be playing what I have been playing for about the last month or so, Skyrim. I am amazed that I have gotten so addicted to this game this time around as I got pretty bored of it pretty quickly the first time I played it a couple of years ago. So yeah, that'll be me doing quests and clearing out dungeons tonight.

I have Borderlands 2 going on my Laptop at the moment... something I have always been meaning to complete. I have all the DLC which I hadn't played before, and am playing through as Gaige to help the fact I can't play multiplayer.

I was originally playing as Zero, which was great all the way through, but then I stuffed myself later on where the character with a sniping build is almost useless when it comes to crowd control. The restart was good though, and I ploughed through the levels with Gaige.

I also have Final Fantasy TheatreRhythm on the 3DS on constantly. I play it on and off when I have a few minutes... all to build up score and get the later rewards.

I am looking forward to returning home in Sep too; back with my PS4. I only had it 3 weeks before going away for several months with work and can't wait to play Wolfenstein: New Order, The Last of Us, Arkham Knight and Lego: Jurassic World once I am on leave!

Kingdom Hearts 3DS. I'm at the last two boss fights. I was also playing Fallout New Vegas DLC but I had to put that on hold until I'm less busy with work.

I'm currently switching between Hotel Dusk, Rocket League, The Witcher 3 and Elder Scrolls Online. After I finish Hotel Dusk and The Witcher 3 I'll be going back to play Daggerfall again.

Fallout New Vegas again again.

I keep finding little things I missed on previous playthroughs. It's fantastic.
^This... though with the amount of mods I'm running I'm never sure if it's parts of the original game I missed or part of a mod I forgot about

I'm also playing Skyrim (PC with the same issues as above) and AC Unity on the PS4 (yes I finally bought one!)

At this very moment, nothing as I am at work (taking a coffee break).

But generally, Splat00n is my go-to-game at the moment.

I have started this game 3 separate times, probably 100 hours into it each time, and I have yet to beat it. I too somehow keep finding things I missed. The runner up to New Vegas is probably the amount of time I spend trying to make my mods play nicely in New Vegas. That can be infuriating. I think I have it stable now, so perhaps I'll actually go finish the game this time?

Be careful, especially if you're running more than a dozen, or so mods. I've had game breaking bugs hit me in the very late game, bugs caused by mod conflicts that weren't a problem at any earlier point. It's really irritating when that happens too, especially when it corrupts the save that I last loaded from.

I am playing Total War Rome II. Its my first campaign and i managed to nearly mess it up on normal (and ive been playing since medieval 2). Ofcourse im playing as rome and by going to war with Carthage a wrecked my economy and for what ever reason began running out of food but i didnt understand why. This meant I couldn't upgrade and resupply my armies and they were suffering from attrition.

HOWEVER... Carthage left their city unprotected and i managed to sneak in and sack it, then i moved along Libya's shore line sacking all of their cities too. That army did get destroyed heading back to Italy but with that army gone I had enough money to build a navy and began sinking enemy armies. I then moved another legion to take those Islands off the cost of Spain (cant remember what they're called) and with Carthage taking back their ruined capital i managed to get peace and come out ahead. Nova Cathargo (mini carthage client state in spain) however did not agree to peace but now they're all alone and I am in a prime position to expand into Iberia and when i get a few more territories I'm going to rebuild my lost legion and go into Greece..... and eventually come back for Carthage.

At this very moment, I'm playing Warframe.

And by 'playing' I mean 'sitting staring at the dev feed waiting for them to finally release Update 17.'

Just finished Life is Strange, ep 4, but I need to replay it, as I forgot to play the game with my particular Max mindset, and made some choices based on my personal stances, not Max.

I'm also trying out the MMO Skyforge, which is pretty neat so far. I'm enjoying the celestial badass feel of it.

Let's see, also playing Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Mark of the Ninja, and that's all I can think of right now.

I'm doing the exact same thing. I also have an eye on r/warframe and the Warframe forums, so I don't miss a beat if/when the update comes around today.

I recently beat Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker (The Trianglum path on the Restore ending), I'm thinking of going back to either Shadowrun: Dragonfall or SMT: Soul Hackers. I am eagerly awaiting Shadowrun: Hong Kong. I am currently playing The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for 360. (I got it for free a few moths back. I'm...probably going to get the 3rd one after this.)
