Last game I played was F-Zero GX. Just doing some random Grand Prix runs on Master Difficulty. It's funny how if you finish in (or close to) 1st for 3 courses and knock out the drivers who are closest to your overall score, you can get away with doing a really crappy job in the other 2 courses.

I was doing the Diamond Cup the other day, and my score was around 380 points by the end of the 4th course. I was ahead of my rival (the driver who has the most points, or the second most points if you have the most) by 100 points (which is what you get if you come in 1st in a race). So even if I got dead last on the 5th (and final) course, and my rival placed in first, I would still finish the Grand Prix 1st overall.

Moral of the story: Screw all that crap about driving skillfully and coming in first. The best way to win is to kill your competitors. Just like in real life!

I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles and GTA4 while waiting for this week's
Noby Noby Boy and Dawn of War 2; both of which will I'm sure occupy all my gametime for at least the next few weeks.
I've also had God of War Chains of Olympus on the go.
My wife finally completed her collection of all the sims 2 expansions so she's been having fun spreading around the university's hooka.
We've also been playing Cooking Mama (wii) together.

Forget your best game ever, worst game ever or most nostalgic warm and fuzzies game - I wanna know what you are playing right now, this week and what do you think of it.

For me this week it's stanglehold an FPS by John Woo, obligatory bullet time, specialist shots, no health regeneration (medi packs only) and a perpetual good guy verses bad guy shoot outs.
PS3: Resistanced 2, LBP, Crash Commando

360: Dead Space, Fallout 3,Gears 2

PC: Crayon Physics Deluxe

yep life's good

I am currently playing one of my favorite games so far. Valkyria Chronicles. Brilliant gameplay. Playing my first play through. However I have a plan for my gaming for the future. When Eternal Sonata arrives I'll play through that. Then play "New Game Plus" on Valkyria Chronicles. Then I am not sure...maybe go back to an FPS but I've lost taste for them.

Right at this exact moment - forum trolling IV. When I'm not playing that or otherwise occupied, of late it's been replaying Medieval Total War 2.

I love the game in a very general way but I always become frustrated at many of the mechanics. They expect you to conquer gobs of territory in a painfully short amount of time, and your efforts will be hampered by a treaty system that seem to have no way to make it work (scotland simply cannot bribe the English to like them, however you CAN force them to become a vassel, but that cost so much cash and resources I should have just finished them off) and the fact that the pope is constantly telling you to stop defending yourself.

Thus I have often gotten to the point in the game where I'm 40 odd turns from the end and only possess half the land I'm supposed to, forcing me to build massive armies in an attempt to steamroll half the world and hope that somehow, my rear lines that are guarded by armed vagrants do not become overwhelmed by the inevitable rebellions thanks to my utter disregard for what the pope is telling me to do.

This time I tried to play as scotland and found that the scottish army is so poorly suited to attacking that the proposition is almost laughable. Sure you can utterly destroy enemy calvary but in return you're given poor calvar and your own infantry are ripped to shreds by any one else's heavy infantry. Somehow, the auto resolution mechanic seems far more capable of winning than I am, especially in city assaults as the rows of pikemen suddenly become adept at close combat when I'm not in control.

As I have the gaming equivalent of ADD I am currently in the middle of:

STALKER: Clear Sky, Neverwinter Nights 2: MotB (and multiple 3rd party modules) , Fallout 2, Galactic Civ 2, Dawn of War, Grim Fandango (again), Deus Ex (again), Mass Effect (again), Just Cause (again), System Shock 2 (again) and Bioshock (again)

as well as dipping in and out of Audiosurf, TF2, Left 4 Dead, Morrowind and Oblivion whenever the fancy takes me.

Call of Duty 4. I got it the day it came out over a year ago and I still think it's awesome.

I'm going through BioShock a third time around to try to get the achivementsd I missed the first two times around. But tomorrow I'm starting Half Life for the PS2 (Finally obtained a copy this week!=D)
Why not just play it on the PC? It cheaper and you get more stuff for your money. I actually just finished a replay of the whole series just last week. You see I bought the Orange Box but never actually played Episode 2 what with exams, other games and more important things to worry about. Ending shocked me and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Just finished playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 with a friend. Very much into Team Fortress 2 recently as well.
Because I'm no good at PC games and there's 5 other people here that use the same computer as me. So there's no time to play a game on the computer over a decent period of time anyway.
