Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome. Much of the time I am driven to tears with laughter. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a read that, while humorous, intimately portrays profound notions.

Well, yesterday I started rereading some old comics I have in my collection. Specifically, I was cracking open Justice League of America #219, which I got from an antique store up in Missouri on a family trip.

It's kinda hard to comment on reading comics, since one tends to get through them fast enough not to count. I mean, unless it's a trade paperback, it's usually "I'm going to read this" and then "I just read this".

Also, I should probably be reading my school textbooks. Oh well.

The Tall Man by Chloe Hooper. It is the story of the death in custody of Cameron Doomadgee on Palm Island. So far it is very balanced and even in its representation of both Palm Island's community and of the policeman in question. It is also a very well written book. I can't read stuff if it is poorly written, no matter how compelling the story may be.

Not as good as his first trilogy, not enough Thomas Covenant and way too much Linden Avery for my liking (if you don't know, that's less of a complete arsehole antihero and too much whinging and selfpity)

Then I may reread the Amtrak Wars. Again.

Just finished reading Ancient Greece: a History in Eleven Cities, and I have just started reading a short biography of Thomas Paine which contains The Rights of Man.

I am also going to have to start reading The Old Testament, A Clockwork Orange, a history text on Europe from the 1500's to the 20th century, and various poems for several courses I've just started.



Furthermore, I will be starting my annual reading of The Lord of the Rings shortly: September 22nd to be exact.

Dark Tower IV: Wolves of Calla. Technically I'm not reading it I just got an audio book. I have nothing against reading but this is simply more convenient right now, I leave it playing when I go to bed and when I fall asleep at some point no big deal.

Hey me too! actually finished it about an hour ago. Onto Song of Susannah now.

I'm reading the Three Cornered World by Natsume Soseki. It's awesome, and I'm not hugely into litterary fiction.
