I'm reading the annotated Hobbit, which is actually a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. Some of the annotations are really long and boring though, but some of the edits made by Tolkien in later editions, letters he sent, and how the Hobbit relates to other fairy tales he read as a child are worth reading. Just bought The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I guess its the complete edition) which my friend told me was awesome.

So, what is the Escapist reading?

American Psycho, yet again.
I sincerely wish they put more cannibalization into the film, reading this book over and over again to get my gore fix is tiring.

A Song of Ice and Fire series, for like the 4th time, in anticipation of both the HBO miniseries and the 5th book being (in a hypothetical perfect world) released this year.

Sea Glass, sequel to Storm Glass. It's a spin-off series based on the Study trilogy by Maria V. Snyder. And as soon as my reservation comes in, I'll be starting the Chronicles of Narnia.

Robin Hobb Farseer Triology. The author is truly not afraid to s%£t all over the main character, which is an interesting approach of a fantasy series.

I'm currently reading a book called "So Shelly". It was written by an old English teacher of mine, and thus far I'm loving it.

Its about John Keats and Lord Byron, but in a present day setting. Really good read. I'm a little biased, sure, but its a legitimately good book.
