What Are You Usually "Hypocrytical" About?

We are all hypocrites, some more, some less. We sometimes criticize others for doing something, and then we find ourselves doing the exact same thing the next day. Has this happened to you?

I, myself don't really have any interesting experiences to share; I just wanna hear your answers.

I usually find it annoying when something old that gets remade into something new gets hated on by fans of the original. But then I also hate the new Scooby Doo series. I probably shouldn't count this since I have good reasons for doing so but I really want to see this discussion continue.

I make serious fun of fat people in my head. The things I think about while I talk to them all friendly like I have to keep myself from bursting out in laughter. I've never actually made it obvious to them though, but I really hate people who discriminate.

In Team Fortress 2 I sometimes play as a Medic but then i dont heal anyone.

In Borderlands i used to be the designated Medic in my local team, but whenever they wanted healing i just shot them with a 3K damage rocket launcher.

In short i tend to be a hypocratic medic, but when im not im damn good at it.

Vocal minorities. In a recent argument I was having with someone, I forget the context but I brought up prepubescent kids swearing like sailors in Call of Duty lobbies, and I got called out on it. Later, I called out the other person for accusing all PC gamers of being elitist based on one Youtube user (guess who.) At the time, I did catch the hypocrisy, though, so I brought up the earlier example, not out of humility but to press their argument back at them.

I get really annoyed with the rest of my family for being Grammar Nazi's, but my pet peeve is when people make up words that don't exist, for example "Guesstimate" (Urgh, just typing it makes me feel unclean). I do feel there's a degree a distinction though. I'm not getting all snobbish and superior about something as minor as a misplaced apostrophe, but "Guesstimate" just isn't a word. Alright!

Also, does it make me homophobic (as well as hypocritical) to say, while I like to think of myself as just about as liberal as it gets when it comes to other people's sexual preferences, that overly camp/effeminate men, and well as overly butch women, annoying. Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no problem with same sex relationships (to tell you the truth I have contemplated experimenting myself), and I have no problem with them being proud of who they are and what they like. I am certainly not disgusted by 'gay' people.

It's just that, whenever I see a man walking down the street looking like if he tried any harder to be camp he'd start farting bunches of flowers I think to myself 'Yes, we get it, you're gay. Well done for figuring yourself out, but do you really have to shove it in peoples faces like you want to be an advertisement for homosexuals everywhere.'

When you think about it, isn't that being just as douchey as the college jock stereotype of going around being unpleasant to everyone for the purposes of asserting your masculinity, only the opposite? Or am I being a pig?

i guess i have hypocrisies but i avoid acting on them.
so even though its a stretch....i hate movies with white guilt (because they are all somewhat wrong and annoying on a few levels) But the movie To Kill A Mockingbird is absolutely amazing.

I also tend to be very annoyed by atheist and left wingers (because they tend to be hypocritical in alot of aspects, but i digress) yet i hang out on escapist threads.

I complain when people tell me to do stuff that I should do but when I actually get some power on a project then I start bossing people around more than the actual people I was complaining about! This happened to me the other day when me and Nasrin were in discussion about the Community Awards I shall be hosting soon I started telling her to do stuff instead of simply asking a question. Like instead of saying "Nasrin do you have the time to make some badges for the winners" I was like "Could you do this and make some badges before I plan to start this thing!". I felt incredibly embarrassed when I realized I had been bossing around the community manager! She did get annoyed at me but we made up in the end.

I like ketchup but hate tomatoes. I like eggnog but hate eggs. I love onion rings but hate onions.

I hold up great movie adaptions of literature as a sign of how great the book was but rarely ever read the book.

I skip to the end of the book just to see if there is a happy ending but I get frustrated if people spoil other parts of the book for me before I read it.

I wish for meaningful character development in action movies but often when they try it I cringe at how bad it is.

I push my luck in video games by trying to get a little too guns-a-blazing and then view it as unfair when I end up dying for my mistake.

I could go on, but I think that's enough for now.

Yes and no. Well, I wouldn't say homophobic, but more of intolerant. I'm kind of guilty of the same thing, which is odd considering I'm a guy who likes guys, haha. Anyway, yeah it can grate on my nerves too because I never understood WHY guys like that do that. I don't recall ever saying to myself "So I like guys, I guess I should start to be flamboyant!" I'll never understand it...

I hate hypocrisy with a passion. Which makes even a minor hypocritical moment sting to me. To the point, where I try to avoid such moments and try not to speak unless I believe what I say and feel strongly about it. It doesn't stop it, but I don't think I'm too bad about it.

As of now, I can't think of anything major I do. I might edit this if I do, though.

I'm strongly anti-theistic, yet I've found every member of the clergy I've met so far to be very nice.
To me, that just means you aren't bigoted against religious people. Assuming that you actually treat them with respect and allow them to live their lives as they see fit, that's not hypocritical. It's being a decent human being.

I give advice on health, but follow NONE OF IT myself. Don't tell anyone.

In fact, most of the advice I give to others is rarely followed by myself. And it ends up working for them! Damn my self-esteem.

I get pissed at my friend for being all up tight about how and what you call a certain character but will get on his case for calling manga graphic novels(I know it's silly but it annoys me for some reason) and non Japanese animation anime. And before any one ask no I'm not a weeaboo who refuses to watch dubs and thinks Japan is the greatest place ever.

I'm not exactly the most attractive guy out (I like to think I'm not ugly, but for all I know that's just "me bias"), but I find myself getting incredibly annoyed at ugly people. I rarely act on it, but seeing someone who is incredibly ugly actually visually offends me. I'm trying to stop this, and it isn't something that I'm proud of.

Also, I hate it (and am very judgemental) when sluts have unprotected sex with strangers, but one of my best friends recently had a pregnancy scare because her period was late and she had unprotected sex with two guys in a very short period of time, and I was completely on her side.

I rage at the Idea of people disliking/judging me for what i like
