Finally figuring out something difficult in a game and beating it without consulting a game FAQ/Walkthrough/Strategy guide.
In GTA 4, I once decided to go on a random murderous rampage, as I am wont to do when playing sandbox crime games. I held a little gazebo against overwhelming police attack until finally being brought down by a helicopter with a 5 star wanted level. It was cool.
