World of Warcraft...

*shudders* so much grinding...
I used to listen to my favourite tracks as i'd grind. Now when an old favourite like Gorillaz comes on, i get flashbacks of grinding those bear-people and have to change tracks. WoW corrupted my music taste :(

Any Ratchet and Clank game I always go for all the weapons fully upgraded, which takes me usually 2-3 run throughs, then I just accumulate an absurd amount of money. Final Fantasy x. I completely the sphere grid to such an extent that Rikku, one shotted the final boss with a physical attack. Fallout 3 I got every unique weapon, all skills up to 100, most SPECIAL skills raised to 10, and those that aren't are not crucial in allowing me to have 100 in all skills. Those are really the only games I'm a completionist in. I mean if you want to count multiplayer I have everything done. All challenges, all camos, everything.

Morrowind. I think I will die of old age before I get 100% completion. I swear I discover something new every time I play it.

Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and CTR. Also, Spyro 2. And Sly 2 and 3. Games these days are too complicated. At least these ones had the courtesy of telling me which level the things were in, and how many. Nowadays its "Theres a huge, 3 island city, with 350 shards around it, and no discernable pattern to find them. To top it all off, we wont even tell you how many you have. Why? Fuck you, thats why"

I regrettably never got to finish that game because the disc was scratched and wouldn't play past Kashyyk. I got the second, breezed through it, and thought, "That really sucked." I'll get a new copy of the first and play through it one day.

The Mass Effect games are my favorite completionist titles, quite possibly because they are also my general favorite games. Super Smash Bros. Melee was my first game to totally complete. I also quite enjoy Forza Motorsport 2 and 3, and though I've never finished either (probably never will), I'm chipping away.

I've wasted a rather embarrassing amount of time in Fable II (somewhere north of eighty hours) and STILL didn't get everything.

Morrowind and Oblivion.

I preferred the former.
Same here. I have spent such an embarrassingly huge amount of my life playing Morrowind.

Another game that for me was a joy to complete is 遙かなる時空の中で3 (Harukanaru toki no naka de 3), which I played on the PS2. Despite some shoehorned-in romance the characters were really well-rounded and Genpei Wars time travel was awesome.

I've never gotten 100% in any game, but I got close with the single-player in Assassins' Creed: Brotherhood. I didn't get all the feathers or flags, but I rebuilt Rome 100%.

Would you like to buy the Collosseum? Yes, sir. I think I will take that.

I've also got most of the achievements for Mass Effect 1 and 2, but not by trying. I've just played those games at least six times each.

well if you have a even average computer its on steam for maybe 9 bucks or so? if not im sure its somewhere dirt cheap..its definitly better than the 2nd one in terms of characters/story/being a complete game, but you'll notice a less depth in customization and styles. literally i could write down probably right where you left off and finish the game for you on pen and paper =\

and good choices on mass effect, i just did a good 2 hours of side quests for mass effect 1 just before virmire

I'm not sure if it'd count, but games like Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, & LEGO *insert popular movies here* and others I really enjoy.

Then there's games like FFT where I HAVE to get each class maxed out, even the lame ones, for my main character.

I also enjoy techno victory or completion in my RTS and 4X games.

Oblivion might be mine. I 100% Fallout 3 but in oblivion i want to get my character to level 100. And i found a glitch that might help me do this.
The problem here is that in order to do this you need 1,000 skill points. The max you can possibly get is 700 (7 major skills each with 100 levels). In order to get to level 100 without cheating, you will eventually have to resort to committing long strings of crimes and spending decades in prison (as your time in prison reduces most of your skills).

Alternately, you can play the game on PC where a number of mods uncap skills (and some of them actually make this useful. Only acrobatics and athletics offer a tangible reward for having them above 100).

Red Dead Redemption - I really liked the fact that there wasn't a million birds to shoot or packages to find or horseshoes to find like there have been in previous R* games. It's also the only game that I have gotten 100% completion in

Prior to the PS3, I would have to say Fallout series (1 & 2, and eventually 3), Hitman series (especially Silent Assassin), and Godfather: The Game on the PS2.

Now that I have a "next-gen" console, I've thoroughly enjoyed attempting full 100%'s on just about anything that has any combination of stealth, free running, an "open" world, and a fairly viscous storyline (like any can actually be considered "solid").
Batman: Arkham Asylum (except I suck at the Challenges)
AC II (100%)
AC: Brotherhood (in progress)
inFamous (100%)
PoP: Forgotten Sands (100%)
Uncharted (~80%)
Uncharted 2 (minus multiplayer)
Red Dead Redemption (minus multiplayer)
RDR: Undead Nightmare (minus multiplayer)
MGS4 (no clue of percentage... but I've been through the game twice already for the fun of it)
Flower (What can I say? It's like zen gaming... the most relaxing rme I've spent with a controller in my hands.)

Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, as well as Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy. As far as those games go, I'm past the 100 percent phase. Now it's all about how fast I can get 100 percent.
I just made an account and came here to say that you are my favorite person to respond to this thread. Thank you.

Also, Viva Piñata and Batman: Arkham Asylum were tons of fun to 100%.
