Lancer from Gears of War. Brutal, yeah, but it's really satisfying to kill locust with. Personal least favourite: AK-47. I know they're about as common as people, but I'm so sick of the sight of it. I can't be the only one, right?

The Steyr Scout in Counter Strike 1.6.
Seriously. I love it. Cheap as fuck, makes u move faster than if you're holding the knife (that's video game logic) and it kills with 1 headshot.

Haven't played CS in ages.

Any form of a M4, a Spas shotgun, and a Beretta from games with those. Every weapon especially the True Dragon sword from Ninja Gaiden 2. The grenade, the shotgun and the ISA assault rifle from Killzone 2 (all so satisfying when fired or thrown), and the needler and plasma launcher from Halo because nothing can escape it's grasp (with me behind the trigger) so I have a feeling of god with them in my hand.

Every gun in Halo: ODST was perfect. Other than that, though, I like the semi-automatic guns. They're never good enough in the Call of Duty games, but I still love them.

This is probably cheating, but my Hyperion SMG on Borderlands.
Does really, really high damage, has sniper-like accuracy and reloads at a pretty good speed.

Never would've beat Crawmerax without it. Granted, it was probably more to do with my pal sat in a corner where Crawmerax couldn't see him and just sniped his ass off, but my SMG helped!

Snarks from Half Life. Tiny bugs that would quickly crawl up to enemies and explode. Also because if you held them out long enough, you would start poking them.

 

[Atmos Duality]

Melee: Cao Pi's version of the two-bladed sword from Dynasty Warriors 5.

Ranged: Too many options to pin down, but I shall try.

-Chaingun (Doom 3, specifically). This gun just clicks with me. I don't know what makes it so special compared to other big dumb-guy-guns. But it works.

I have too many to list but a few are: The Portal Gun from Portal, The Huntsman in TF2, The Sandman in TF2, The Force-a-Nature in TF2, The BFG in DOOM, The Awesome Auger in Dead Rising 1, The Ripper in Dead Space, The Blunderbuss in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, and MANY MORE!

The nuke-gun from Mass Effect 2 (can't remember its actual name). I tried it out - blew 600 rounds of ammo in one shot and almost killed myself because I was too close to the blast. It was freakin hallarious. ^^

Sniper rifles aren't crazy, but I do love 'em. ^^

Its called the m920 CAIN.

my personal favorite is the m98 Widow from mass effect 2. i alos loved the gauss rifle from fallout 3, and the GOL sniper magnum in battlefield 2(project reality) and BFBC2

as the name may suggest it turns enemies into ducks
but not just any ducks. Exploding egg laying, firey demon ducks who seek out your foes
and it doesn't need ammo
that is why it is my favourite

Oh hells yes it is an awesome gun. It is defiantly up in my favorites. I also liked the Rhyno in that game but before it got the lvl 5 upgrade though. You know when it became an overpowered weapon of the apocalypse.

I also love the gravity gun in Half-Life 2 (Come on, who doesn't like sending saw blades through zombies slicing them cleanly in half?)
And the Portal gun.
And the Flak cannon from the Unreal Tournament series. (Love how they did not change it's power and abilities AT ALL in the games. Only difference in each one is the skin/pallet and the fact they gave it a nice HD makeover in UT3)

I think possibly the speargun from Bioshock 2, the dual beam katana in NMH2, the Katana in Shadow the Hedgehog, Crowbar in HL2, Flaregun in TF2, Broken Butterfly in Resi 4... uhhm... the Scar in L4D and Pandora's box from DMC 4... Can't forget the arm cannon from Metroid though
