Add my two fears (which are pretty closely interconnected)

I suffer from pedophobia (fear of children) and pediophobia (fear of dolls, although it extends to puppets, marionettes and ventriloquist dummies).

However I've overcome my pediophobia by embracing it as a morbid curiosity as I plan to have a go at doll making and expressing my fears through their design (which should prove interesting).

Children, however, not so much. Don't ever leave me in a room alone with one, they're just frickin' creepy and I don't want it near enough to touch me.

Not of death, but dying alone, or no one giving two shit about it.

And why all the fear of spiders. They ward off/eat those annoying bugs, spiders are our friends.
Trust me, I would GLADLY suffer a plague of blue bottles if it meant I could get rid of every last one of those fuckers. They eat things by liquefying their insides and drinking them like a smoothie for God's sake, but not before they let them struggle and suffocate in their web's first. These are creatures that are quite clearly meant to be feared and despised by all other living species.
Hold a tarantula, like I did. Cures any inclination towards fearing, spiders, and if I do say so myself, they're adorable

Don't you want to pet something this fluffy?
Oh god, it looks horrifying!

Just kidding I said losing my life to a whore with disease
Very, uh, interesting fear,
Just ask Frank Black ;)

I do have a fear of running out of certain things. Not just the usual drugs or alcohol, but also bananas or cereal.

Ceasing to exist.

Which is fairly ironic considering that I'm an atheist. Although I guess that's probably something only atheists would really fear, so I guess maybe it's not all that ironic after all. Just unfortunate.
Many a night I've spent pondering that. It confuses my brain to much.

You were a child once... so technically you had one touching you all the time... except that... I'm confused.

ururururururururururggghhh no no no no no. That's not fur. Each one of those hairs is designed to be launched into your skin if it feels threatened, as if the venom wasn't enough. It's not fluffy, it's weaponised.

Another a few for the List

High Velocities
Harm to a Loved One
The Unknown
Twilight
(Would not watch that again even if someone told me they would subject me to every fear on this list if i did not)

from what i have read all fear can be linked to a fear of losing control/sanity though

SPIDERS! dear God they are terrifying!
Are you afraid of spiders, or would you panic the second you see one?

Many people are just afraid of spiders. But only a few would freak out the second they see one (no matter if it's close or far) and pass out if it moves.

I myself am afraid of spiders walking over me (except for very little ones), but I don't freak out when I see one. I just don't like the thought. :S

Ah, yes, a good point. However, the phobia didn't really crystallize until I was in secondary school (I don't really remember how old I was, maybe about 12 or 13). I won't go into the whole sob story, but it basically boils down to be not being a little clumsy and accidentally injuring a small boy while carrying a tray of coffee. I think it's mostly rooted in the guilt that I never actually got into trouble about it because I panicked and ran away.

It's not something I'm particularly proud of, hence the phobia, I don't want that to ever happen again so I NEVER want to be left in alone in a room with a child.

That scream will stay with me for life.

Fireworks.
And magnets, I mean how do they work!?
its all in the electrons bro. thats the incredibly simple/shortened version. ive done some experiments with magnets (for school science fair), so i have a basic understanding of how they work.

and what scares you about fireworks? just curious
I'm not sure exactly, the loud bangs just make me really uncomfortable and close to panicking.

Heights, and death. I also tend to freak out when a bug surprises me, but I'm not really afraid of bugs otherwise.

Shark Bee hybrids
Anvils
Safes
[insert anything else that is often dropped on cartoon characters]
Raw Bacon
The Finnish
and Organ-less people
Also, Genitalia, of all kinds.....Fucking creepy. (because you missed it last time)

I can name a few:

-Death
-Stage Fright
-Embarassment
-Heights
-Flying
-Speeding (No, I don't want a ticket. Or an accident.)
-Police (Fuckers have their intimidate skill maxed out.)
-Cold (I start thinking that I'll get hypothermia.)
-Insects, more acutely Bees (It's the best way to get me screaming.)
-Fleshpounds (They're big and they'll one shot you if you're not careful.)
-Needles (Not so much anymore.)
-Pain

I could say I'm afraid of heights, but they're more "thrilling" than scary to me. Other than that, I'm afraid of not being able to breathe. I cannot start a mundane conversation with someone I do not know, either.
