I liked the first one. The second one was a cash-grab sequel but hey, what are you gonna do? One problem I did have with the first one though (which was it's fault in the same sense that Halo is to blame for regenerative health) was that my friends were convinced that it was *real*. It was funny at first, but when I had to start convincing them that it was just a movie, yeah. Most of them snapped out of it when I told them that the actors were on AOTS for an interview, but there was this one guy who was so stubborn.
I obviously can't remember it word for word but this is more or less how it went:
"It's not real."
"Yes, it is."
"No, it's not; the people in it were on an AOTS interview."
"Those were just the actors portraying them."
"Who look exactly like them and have the same name as their characters?"
"Yeah. That movie was actual footage police recovered from the house!"
"How could they recover the footage? The chick ate the camera at the end!"
"They still had the computer that they uploaded the footage to!"
"How could the final scene have been uploaded?! THE CHICK ATE THE CAMERA!"
*sigh* At least the sequels convinced anybody who still believed it was real to *stop* believing it was real.
