What are your predictions for Nintendo's E3 Conference?

It's going to be a full reveal of Pikmin 3, probably including some demo at the show as well. That got announced last year, and last month, the CEO of GameStop was told by Nintendo to reserve a large amount of shelf space for a game that's coming during the holiday season. I could also see an announcement on a new Star Fox game, but that won't get released soon, as they want to get hype rolling for that one. I doubt we'll see another Zelda title announced, as Nintendo wants to focus the attention on Spirit Tracks. I could see a Metroid game being announced for DS, but the Prime trilogy is over, and I think that Nintendo may want to release another DS Metroid before they move the series back to the Wii. All and all, this E3 looks to be a promising one for Nintendo, and I hope that the show goes well, because if it doesn't, all hope is lost for the Wii.

Seriously, Wii Sports/Fit/Music sells better than every single game Nintendo Fans actually, so Nintendo not only WON'T give you what you want, they probably don't like you for wanting it.

They're probably thinking something along the lines of "Why won't these Zelda/Metroid people leave us alone so we can keep making money off of the ignorant masses."

Sadly, this is probably the truth. I don't even feel like watching G4 for the E3 coverage this year: last year's was rather ridiculous.

All and all, this E3 looks to be a promising one for Nintendo, and I hope that the show goes well, because if it doesn't, all hope is lost for the Wii.

Nintendo has to have a good E3 this year, especially after their disappointing 2008 Press Conference. The Wii has been taking crap from gamers and critics alike for the past few months, and doesn't have much to counter their arguments with. Hopefully, Nintendo realizes this and has an ace up their sleeve to help stop the stereotype that there's no point in making a decent game for the Wii.

Its a tug of war here. Level 5 have two main franchises tied to two companies. The Dark Cloud series, and the Professor Layton series. Whats interesting is that Level 5 have never really been that fully driven by money, so there's no real way to predict what they'll do.

I really hope they show something for Dark Cloud this year. Layton seems like an interesting game, but come on. DC is one of their best franchises. HAnds down.

However a new Starfox or Metroid game would be nice aslong as they don't screw those up too.
