Pretty self explanatory.

I may be a little late to discovering this, but I just heard Bethesda has a 3 game contract or whatever for the Fallout series. And I know Fallout: New Vegas will be the next one then Fallout 4.

So, what do you want to be in the next Fallout game?

I personally want the following:

1. Better customization (I know they were trying to keep the 50's feel of it, but most people don't have those hairstyles anymore.)

2. Bigger area. (I love the Capital Wasteland, but I felt it was much smaller than the one's in Elder Scrolls, which limited my immersion. I like huge worlds)

3. More Quests!! (The amount of quests in Fallout 3 were severely lacking in my opinion. They were all great, but there were so few of them.)

4. Just like for Oblivion, More voice actors!!! (I can't tell you how many times I saw people talking to themselves.)

Basically, what you said, but I also want more colors than post apocalyptic brown and gray.

More energy weapons. Co-Op. Being set in the one utopia remaining in a dystopian world; New York.

...Made by a zombified Black Isle? Fallout 3 was a good reimagination of Oblivion, but not a successor to Fallout 2.

Multiplayer! I prefer non artificial conversation as I explore.

*Hand slowly edging towards flameshield...*

Edit: and make everyone killable with it altering the plot/story if they die instead of them being invincible.

The ability to kill children.

Not because I actively want to kill children per se, but I went on a mad shooting spree while in a bad mood in Megaton and Simm's son was just wandering around afterward. It was... bizarrely
depressing.

More dialogue options.

The ability to actually have a love interest. It's not a game-maker for me, but for example there's that woman in Rivet City who wants you to buy her a drink, and several other flirtatious females (presumably flirtatious males too if you play a girl). But it doesn't go anywhere. At all. Just the same conversations over and over.

I would like it to have more humor and to be more referential... You know, like the other Fallout games...

Well said. Its like Bittercup in Big Town. She hits on you so much and asks you if you're in a relationship, but you can't do anything.

More customization, bigger world, make weapons easier to find in the beginning, more quests, and being able to play after you beat the game. I know that they're doing that in the Broken Steel DLC pack but I want it available from the beginning.

1. Relationships: I'd like to actually have a mechanic where I can date/marry some chick in the wasteland

2. Pump-action shotgun: I mean, why didn't they have this earlier? It's the balance between sawed-off and combat shotgun, and pumping it would just sound awesome.

Actually have the unique weapons look different... and the ability to upgrade weapons instead of just repairing them... like add silencers, scopes, bigger mag, etc. Would be nice to also have vehicles to drive around in... oh, and cities... like, real cities... not small towns or cities that had roadblocks everywhere, or really spread out like DC was...

A more interesting game. Bethesda doesn't seem to have the right formula to make a game interesting to me, so it's unlikely that I'll buy it, except if it starts to lean more towards Mass Effect, which I found a much more compelling game.

Don't forget about Oasis. At least that was a good change.

Less brown and green, and get that fucking dust outta the sky! Seriously, it's impossible for it to stay there for more than 2 centuries!
And more quests+ voice actors. And the original Brotherhood of Steel! If their little branch in D.C. was that badass, the original one must have already taken over half America.
