Its a three-way tie between Metallica, Tool and Alestorm. The albums I mostly listen to by them are Load(yes, I loved Load. Don't judge me), 10,000 Days and Captain Morgan's Revenge.

Jesus Furburt Christ. Spotify started playing 50 million year trip at the exact moment I started reading your post! Freaked the fuck out of me.
MWUHAHAHAHAH!

YOU ARE UNDER MY GRASP!

Fear my unearthly playlist power.
Meh, could be worse. Your taste of music is exquisite. (I bought Witchcult Today...today, finally my Electric Wizard collection is complete!)

Rebellion - Thor.

Seriously a band who has devoted almost their entire discography to describing all the major events in Norse Mythology must kick ass.
That actually is pretty cool.
Thanks for sharing.

I'm listening to a lot of the new releases from,

The New Pornographers,

Minus the Bear,

Plus others, like Hard Girls and The Wild, whose albums one could download for free (with donations accepted1) at quoteunquoterecords.com

And the new Coheed & Cambria is alright, too.

At the moment, anything Josh Homme has been involved in- gotta love the Ginger Elvis.

That and I'll always stop and listen to something from/linked to the likes of Thom Yorke, Eugene Hutz or David Bowie

Mostly Tower of Power, Sum 41, Basshunter, Daft Punk....

I like songs that have a good beat to them; it really helps me focus on the electrostatics homework i'm doing right now
