Whats with the hate for Syd Barret? When he was around the band was at it's most interesting!
Don't get me wrong, i love the later stuff, but i always feel it lacked the sheer creative anarchism that it possessed with Barret at the helm.

Syd died. So theres not much chance of seeing him live.

But OT I really want to see Slayer live. And Pantera but thats not possible : ( Say what you want about Slayer's leads, but they are the PERFECT live band.

I'd be happy going to see Rise Against, 3 Days Grace and Funeral for a Friend live, they would be quite good I think >.>

I wanna see Rise Against in November so fuckin' badly. They're an incredible punk band. I saw FFAF last December and they're good and quite funny but it just wasn't that exciting, definitely one of my lesser-enjoyed gigs.
I have to see Gallows, I keep missing out on them, and The Gaslight Anthem, what an incredible band
