Game music, never really paid much attention to it until my friend showed me some devil may cry and silent hill sample songs,

Cpt. Oblivious got me into Alestorm recently. He posted about them a few times, so I finally looked 'em up. Pirate Metal. My soul smiles at the thought.
Songs-Leviathan, Keelhauled, Pirate Song-all good ones.
Just spotified them - awesome!!!

Recently - The Ghost of a Thousand, little bit emo but with a metal edge still deciding if I like it or not.
Not recent but the best band a mate ever told me about was Reuben, imo one of the best British bands of recent years not to breakthrough. RIP.

Pendulum have been a huge and popular band for years now, but I just refused to get into them, being a big lover of punk and rock music. But, my mates insisted I gave them a shot and now I do really like them. Good choice!

Recently got into Tokyo Police Club, a Canadian band. They remind me of the Strokes, they play a lot of high energy rock stuff.

also try to put down what kind of music they play
and a few of your favorite songs by them if you can
a few of them a buddy of mine got me into are:
Sloppy Seconds. the kings of junk rock
Queen from Outerspace, Come Back Tracy, Kill the Trendy, Horror of Beach Party, Running from the CIA, Kegs R 4 Kids, You Can't Kill Joey Ramone,

Hub City Stompers. a great ska band
Chatterbox, Sum of 3, Leave me the Fuck Alone, My Boot, Johnny Daterape, Skins Don't Cry,

i forget the name of them but that do reggae dub versions of the Dark Side of the Moon, Sgt Pepper album, and led zeppilin album as far as i know

and i forget the name of it but it was a gypsy punk band and what song they play
Gipsy punk......hmmmm Gogol Bordello possibly? Start Wearing Purple? ringing any bells? anyway I was offered a ticket to go see them but back then i was stupid and didn't appreciate them for what they are......oh cruel regret.....

anyway for me would be Fat Freddys Drop for some funky, dub/soul and all that jazz. Boondigga off their new album is their best song i reckon.
Incubus-Dig
and Infected Mushroom. Everyone I know is convinced that the best part of 'Heavyweight' is the slight pause about two minutes in but i'm not convinced yet....
