I saw Beach House open for Vampire Weekend last year, and they were both great. I've also seen Belle and Sebastian, which was fantastic.

Me and my family went to see the Wall concert in canada, the decemberists and peter gabriel. Apparently I also went to a sting concert, but I was really young then, and I have a tendency to fall asleep when a lot of people are around.

Rob Zombie
Primus

Slayer
Megadeth

Testament

Meshuggah
Anthrax
Escape the Fate
Trivium

These are all the notable bands I've seen, sorted by festivals/joint concerts. I've seen a bunch more that I can't think of at the moment - I see a lot of my bands at festivals and it's kinda hard to keep track of them all. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Maiden was the best out of all of them (and that was this year!). It's unbelievable how well they can still play at their age, especially Bruce Dickinson who still belts out some of the craziest vocals in music history.

The only band I've been able to see live so far is when I went with my dad to see The Dave Matthews Band perform in Philadelphia.

...what? It was a nice night out and a bonding experience!
