What battle strategies have you seen/do you use in Pokemon

Online strategy:

Get a low level Rattata, equip Focus Band.

Use Endeavor, let them hit you.

Opponent with 1 hp, use quick attack.

/game.

The F.E.A.R tactic. Classic yet too obvious now-a-days on PBR

I usually just made Gyarados use Fire Blast.

Well, the last game I played was Pokemon Red so at endgame I basically cycled through the rock-paper-scissors types or spammed Hyper Beam.

I leveled the daylights out of my Ivysaur or Venusaur one and went for Hyper Beam tactics as well.
