Brink Trailer Revealed At E3:
Remember a couple weeks ago when I revealed Bethesda had purchased a trademark for the name Brink for a PC and Console game? Well, that is Bethesda's (Splash Damage) secret project they have been working on.
The trailer didn't reveal much, the idiot interviewers didn't get any info as to FPS or RPG, MMORG or Single, etc. - but it promises to have great graphics!
The storyline sounded Awesome! I wish the trailer had showed a little more than it did, no backdrop was revealed at all, just a face.
Because it is made by Splash Damage I am assuming it will be an online/Live.
Brink will be released Spring 2010. Yeah!
By the way, this IS the secret project Splash Damage has been working on, and Bethesda has held under wraps all this time! Finally we know something!

Elder Scrolls News!
Sometime this fall The Elder Scrolls books are coming out, and "something else Oblivion" is coming out; (no one at Bethesda will say what it is). Then in 2010 TESV will be released. Bethesda has trademarked the name Skyrim, so looks like that's where it will be!

Fallout News:
As for Fallout 3 DLC, Point Lookout (a swamp, from what I hear) will be released in June, and Mothership Zeta in July. Mothership Zeta - well, remember that UFO you got the Alien Blaster from? All those Alien broadcasts you were hearing? Watch out, Mothership Zeta is coming after you! Hope it won't involve any probes!
Fallout: New Vegas comes out next year, and Fallout 4 the year after that.
I can't wait, and I am putting up money starting now!

Old News:
*** Well the GOTY has started taking Pre-Orders, and it will have two expansions, one being the Brotherhood of Steel, and the other being Point Look! What is Point Look? You may well ask, but Pete Hines is not telling yet. Brotherhood of Steel has to be on there in order to continue your game after the Main Questline ends, of course; but Point Look has not even been hinted at yet in any interviews! Wonder what it will be like!

** Fallout: New Vegas! Bethesda asked Obsidion to make it, Obsidion is (of course) where Feargus Urquhart and 6 developers from the original Fallout series went (and all are still there!) It will be an RPG for PS3, XBox 360, and the PC - and will not be Fallout 4, (which is still being worked on by Bethesda themselves) - and it won't be the MMO V13 which is at this time being made by Interplay!
So at this time we have up and coming:
*Fallout: New Vegas - Obsidion (with 7 original Fallout series developers on staff)
Fallout 4 - Bethesda
- Vault 13 - Interplay - (with 2 original Fallout series members on staff, 1 is a developer)
Wasteland - InXile - (with 2 original Fallout series members on staff, 1 is a developer)
*Bethesda announced more Oblivion DLC coming out this year
*Bethesda announced TESV next year
*Bethesda announced more Fallout 3 DLC this year
(And we still don't know what Bethesda's Secret Project is)
I don't think I can take much more excitement, what do you think we are looking at on these upcoming games?
- Trouble on the Homefront: Looks like Interplay may not get to do the Fallout MMO after all. It seems they were not able to come up with the financing, in spite of their last minute partnership with Masthead.
***
BACKGROUND:
The deal Bethesda made when buying Fallout 3 was that Interplay had to show they could financially make an Online Fallout game within two years. Interplay got the 30 million they needed to produce the game by teaming up with Masthead. Most of the original developers have left Interplay, only Chris Taylor remains at this time of the original team.
Meanwhile Bethesda soft has partnered with Splash Damage and has scooped some Awesome talents from other gaming giants - Including Richard Ham from Fable 2, lead game designers from games such as Mass Effect, Gears, etc. - and just this week they nabbed Neil Alphonso, lead level designer for Killzone 2.
With the all these huge names in gaming talent under one roof, whatever game they produce is going to ROCK the gaming industry.
Pete Hines and Todd Howard have both referred to a "Secret Project" Bethesda is working on, and two months ago Pete Hines let slip that he had purchased another franchise.
I dug around, and came up with Enemy Territory as my guess as to which franchise Bethesda Soft purchased. Enemy Territory suddenly announced in 2006 that they were discontinuing the franchise, and Bethesda did hire the man who worked on Quake Wars, and the maps for Enemy Territory were made by Splash Damage. Also, in an interview a couple months ago Richard Ham said he was "excited to work on a FPS again, getting back to his roots," and that he had "always loved Enemy Territory." I take that as a clue!
So, what do you think Bethesda's "Secret Project" is? Could it be Enemy Territory? What other franchise could they have purchased, any other guesses?
