i actually just bought the gunslinger dark tower book one im like 25 pages in and im loving it

but i really wanna read the hunger games trilogy ive been told its really good

im in the middle of the second one

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the English translation of the first book in the Millenium series by Swedish author Stieg Larsson.
Tragically he died before he could see his manuscripts published and become the worldwide success they are today.

I'm reading that too! On my shiny new kindle - yay Christmas!
It starts really, really slowly. And now it's a struggle to put it down long enough to check my emails or eat.

Teh Assassin's Creed one you lent me. Forgotten the title. Just like staring at the cover tbh =]

It basically follows the storyline of the second game but done very well, unlike some game books.

I read that, such an awesome book! I need to go play that game some time..

OT: At the moment, I'm reading The Spook's Secret... pretty obscure, and childish writing, but yeah, it's great.

I just finished Good Omens, so now it's on to American Gods and The Color of Magic. I love me some Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I'm also in the process of reading Henry VI. I also love me some Shakespeare.

just finished flashman and the angel of the lord by george mcdonald fraser (read it about a dozen times now) and just started a steaming fresh copy of Retromancer by Robert Rankin. both are highly recommended, er, by me I guess. Also, heard puckoon by spike milligan on audiobook the other day. don't know if that should count as reading though.

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld. A pretty good alternate history take on the start of WW1, where the Allies are Darwinists that genetically engineer creatures to fulfill thier needs (stuff that would be done by machines) and the Central powers are Clankers (i.e. mechs, walkers). Pretty good so far.

I've also got Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth which i'm reading on the side, not to mention all my textbooks and extension reading on the Reformation.

Foundation by Issac Asimov, fantastic book. I am definitely picking up the next one.
