Rereading the Artemis Fowl series - very thought out and interesting story, highly suggested for those who like fantasy/sci-fi books.

I tried reading Artemis Fowl a couple of times... I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi, but it didn't appeal to me.

OT: Sons of Fenris by William King. Part 2 in the second Space Wolf Omnibus. Next is Wolf's Honour. Gotta love the Space Wolves.

I'm re-reading the the entire "Dresden Files" series by Jim butcher in preparation for the next book

So far I've only got the first one in the series, but I've just ordered the second two. I'm hoping they all compare to the first book.


Currently I'm reading The Stand by Stephen King. I was promised 1400 pages of epic, and I was a little disappointed at first but it's getting better.

The book that I am currently reading is Metro 2033 by Dmitry Dlukhovsky. It is a fantastic book. I also played the game, the story on the game is watered down compared to the novel, still a great game though.

States of Grace by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, my favorite vampire series. I just finished reading "Roman Dusk" (same author) this morning, and Enchanted Glass by Jane Yolen this afternoon. Yes, I read very quickly. I know.

this summer, my siblings and i have been told to read a new book each week, but i was doing that every few days anyway before... just got caught up in a stream of new video games for a bit. i only restarted yesterday but i've already read Peeps by Scott Westerfeld and the first book in the WatchingAlice series. (message me if you've read it or know what it is, because i really enjoy it and would like someone to talk to).

I guess, probably just not my type of book. But The Stand is completely amazing. I blew threw 300 pages in one day because I was hooked. Just give it a chance.

I'm currently working through 'The Bicentennial Man' by Isaac Asimov.
It's deffinatly worth reading if your into sci-fi or philosophy. Plus it's a series of short stories like most of his work, so it doesn't require a massive amount of time to read, just half an hour here or there.
