Dorian... I hated at first, but grew to like as he grew as a character. The only character I never wound up liking was Elene.
Thank god someone did not like Elane I through it was just me. She was not a very interesting character, especially in shadows edge as for most of it she spent preaching Kylar to death, and was just overall to nice. I think Vi is a much better fit for Kylar as they have both murdered a ton of people and they both regret it and they are both trying to atone for what they have done.
I can't wait for him to write more post-Night Angel Tril books in that universe. He said he's done with Kylar as a protagonist, but I know he can't just leave it at nothing.

And no, Elene was not very interesting at all. She was pretty girl with a lot of issues. But Vi did all that better.[/quote]

I remember him saying that while any post Night angle trilogy books would not have Kylar as the protagonist he would definitely feature is some way as he hinted that it would be from the point of view of his son. maybe Kylar will take the same role that Duzo did in Night angle Trill and his son will become the next night angle.

Others who didn't think Elene was interesting! At last.

I thought she was dull and boring. Vi though I loved Vi, she was interesting and had a better story.

Also Brent Weeks wrote a short story about Durzo but I'm not sure if it's out yet.

I would love to see a movie of one of the funniest books I've read Good Omens.
Yep. That's what I came here to say. It has been tried before, but it fell through. I've also heard of a potential TV series. That could be interesting, but only if it were a mini-series.

I would love to see the world of Night Watch/Day Watch novels turned into an MMO.
For those not familiar with it, here's the premise:
There's two factions of magic users, the Lights, who gain their powers from feeding off of positive emotions in humans around them and the Darks, who feed off human misery and fear for the same effect, locked in perpetual conflict, but since the last two big conflicts ended in the World Wars, for the past decades they worked out a strict code of laws to govern them and enforced by the Nightwatch (Lights who hunt down and punish Dark lawbreakers) and the Daywatch (other way around)

Basically, new players are randomly assigned to either the Nightwatch or the Daywatch and are called in whenever a player on the opposite side breaks the pact for personal gain or to shift the power balance, but are only told the location and severity of the crime in the number of mana points used up on it. From then on, it's basically a free for all investigation and manhunt on the player who commited the crime.

The prequel, Perfect Shadow, came out June first in digital format. Its in the works to be printed, but hasn't come out yet.

And it IS amazing.

Some of Raymond E. Feist's works, or maybe the Night Angel Trilogy.
i could see Feist's stuff working as an rpg, at the end of the day at least magision was kinda baced off his experiance with role playing. i could also see magision (sorry i cant spell it) silverthorn and darkness at sethanon working as a tv serise but not a movie, there's just to much happening in those books for movies imo. i cant comment on his other stuff as i havn't read it =)

Lets see, we have two discworld books that turned unto movies by now... Soooo..

Can I haz Grim Reaper next? Please?
Guess you mean Reaper Man? And if so, very much yes - easily one of my favourite in the series. Also, theres been 3 now - Going Postal, Colour of Magic (which covered Light Fantastic) and The Hogfather. There was also those two cartoons, Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music, but they were pretty bad.

Personally if Reaper Man wasnt on the cards I'd go for something like "Nightwatch" or "The Truth", I think they'd convert really well to the big screen. :D

Little woman

yeah, great romantic comedy

oh wait! it already has being translated to the big screen

huuuu...

"Isaac Asimov: Foundation"

its a good sci-fi book, albeit a little bit too improbable (his view of "Scientists" running the government is completely delusional) but i would love to see how it all get´s started.

I was thinking the Night Angel Trilogy definitely! Really well made books and they could be a great film/game. Although if it was a game, people would just call it an Assassin's Creed rip-off...

I think it would be cool if they did a TV series chronicling the entire thing when the last book comes out, and it's magician.
