What brings you to the internet on Christmas?

In Sweden, we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, not Day.

My sister couldn't get a flight out before today so she's going to get here around 6:30PM. We're waiting for her to get here before we do anything.
What else am I supposed to do for 11 hours?

I'm not. I've been feasting, giving presents, playing guitar and singing charols with my family for 2 days and now I'm just checking what's up.

Why wouldn't I come to the internet today? The only thing that separates this day from any other is a title and I have no intention of changing my regular daily activities for the sake of a title.

I am 20, christmas has just become a reminder of how little my family actually know me. Apparently after getting so old all you get is smelly sprays... the occasional spray is fine BUT when they make up 2/3rds of your presents you get a little paranoid about your scent!

I also got clothes that dont go with my look at all, apparently they were bought because my mum likes them... I dont think I should be wearing the same clothes that my mum likes! D:

To be perfectly honest, I would have prefered socks because you cant really go wrong with socks.

I got socks and it's true you can never go wrong with socks because you can never have too many socks. And as a side though have you tried telling people want you want for Christmas. Sure, it would be nice to think that they know you well enough, etc, etc but I find without fail that just telling someone what you want works well on all accounts.

We don't do Christmas visits because we don't know anybody. Mother is sleeping. Everybody else is off doing their own thing. Which includes this.

My extended family doesn't really do Christmas at all and my mum is at work which would be fine except I left my DSi with all the games at work yesterday and since I'd planned to play that I have no manga, books or pc games to play and am thus bored out of my mind.

Waiting to get a ride from my sister up to my parents house so we can do Christmas. She's not exactly punctual, so this fills the time.

It's 7 am Christmas morning and I'm not allowed to touch anything until everyone else is awake. I'm not supposed to wake them up until at least 8, but I can't for the life of me get back to sleep. I decided to surf the escapist and play with my Christmas eve gift until everyone wakes up(Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks).
