X play and the Zp reviews they showed. You know before G4 forgot what gaming was.

I was on the Bethesda Fallout 3 forums and everyone made a big deal about the ZP review. Not knowing what it was or why I should care, I ignored it. Besides, I already bought the game why should I bother with a review?

Eventually the thread got long so I went to see what all the fuss was about. Everyone said it was funny so I figured there must be more to it than just another game review. It was pretty damned funny so I started watching the rest of them and started getting more and more into the site.

A friend recommended Zero Punctuation to me. Then I started reading the articles, followed by lurking the forum. I figured this was a decent, intelligent community, so I joined, and here I am.

I was just depressed after some particularly disgusting and ridiculous YouTube comments, and was looking for something that would restore my faith in the Internet. Since I was searching for video games, this was- and still is- the best gaming site (and perhaps even site full stop (or period for our American friends)). Faith restored!
