What brought you to The Escapist?

I watched yahtzee to begin with, then moved onto the forums.

How I found it? I was referred by some friends on Kongregate. They were talking about Zero Punctuation.

Why did I join? The forums are really clean. No spam, idiocy levels are at a minimum, and a higher percentage of posts are quality.

I came for ZP, and stayed for the intellectual and polite forum, which was (and still is) something of an oddity on the internet.

He was, I'm just guessing the mods decided to un-ban him for some reason or another.

OT, I first heard of it when a mate of mine introduced me to Zero Punctuation. After a while I then got into some of their other videos (Such as Unskippable and Doomsday Arcade) and then when March Mayhem came along, I decided to sign up to vote in it, before moving to the forums.

I found that ZP parody on Pure Pwnage and I looked Yahtzee up on YouTube and thought he was pretty funny, so I came to the Escapist to watch his other stuff. The forum topics to the right of the screen were intruiging at times and I didn't have an account so I didn't bother looking until one day I snapped, looked, made an account and started arguing. Thus began my journey into trying to get badges and flaming Turbine fanboys.
