What brought you to the Escapist?

Zero Punctuation, on October 10th 2007 I think. Took me almost two years to make an account.
Also, we've had way too many of these threads.

Zero Punctuation brought me. I can't remember which one was the first exactly, but it MIGHT have been the Legend of Zelda ds game.

I was looking for a fun gaming forum. Then I came back here to whine about how I was unable to find one.

Yeah no okay, it was Zero Punctuation. Someone linked me the Bioshock one, I think. Didn't join right away though.

I came for Zero Punctuation (he was "attacking" my favorite game series, when he reviewed Devil May Cry 4)...I've since watched all of 'em....

I stayed for:

-Unskippable (loved the US/ZP teamup vids)
-There Will be Brawl
-Escape to the Movies
-The Forums (they're mostly games, but this place'll pretty much cover anything i have an opinion of)
-Really lovin' Extra Credits

All in all, my favorite website, hands down....

G4 were airing snippets of ZP(forgot which episode) and I decided to check the rest of the episodes. I soon lurked in the forums for a while until eventually joining.

Came for Yahtzee, stayed for the community, I really enjoy being here because its the only forum I've been to where the community is a bunch of nice people I can relate to. Most forums are just troll city. But not the Escapist, these are real people

Zero Punctuation. It was Bioshock I think. Defanetly one of the earliest ones anyway. Then I discovered Unforgotten Realms. Currently it's Moviebob and Yhatzee that keep me here.

Also, early in Moviebob's 'Game Overthinker' segments he highlighted Zero Punctuation and the Angry Video Game Nerd as both being a really funny guy reviewing new/old games respectively. Now seeing as he does Escape to the Movies here, and The Game Overthinker on ScrewAttack, I can't help but think that's more than a coincidence...
