What brought you to the Escapist?

One of my friends re-directed me to the unskippable videos, then I started watching ZP and "There will be a brawl" and got hooked, finally deciding to make an account after I realized that the escapist posters are actually respectful of each other (usually)

A friend showed me Zero Punctuation. Watched his stuff ever since.

Ditto. But Lisa Follies, and Extra Credit are good too. I should probably give Unskippable a chance, and some others. Also, Yahtzee is 'STILL' good, his last video made me laugh at bits.

this classmate i worked with played it every single fucking class. And I loved it. Seriously, he would even quote it to me. His favorite line was "Because when you're faced with a magical hand that shoots bees you're going to fucking lose."

I think there was one thread i really wanted to answer, so i registered. And then I got caught up in the wonderful world of RPing.

a friend of mine told me to watch the zero punctuation review of bioshock when I just started playing it. and of course I loved the series when he started pissing halo and cod fans of... personally just don't like games like that
have to give some magur thumbs up for extra creditz too :3

but I guess I really started using my time on the escapist when I started watching DOOMSDAY ARCADE >v< d@mn awesome show

I'd been reading up on Fable, and I found the ZP review, and then a quick google search introduced me to one of my top 3 favorite sites. I spent a while lurking, but the forums have become one of, if not the most major aspect of the sit for me.

A friend showed me the ZP review of MGS4 because I'm a fan of MGS and he wanted to shut me up I guess, I checked out his other reviews and found them to be funny, so I started watching them every week, then I made an actual account because of the nice forums
