What brought you to the Escapist?

Here's an answer I doubt anyone else could give: I was trying to impress a hot guy.
Story was I was sat in my Uni library last year and this insanely cute dude was next to me, watching what to me, at the time, looked like some stupid slideshow with the worst background ever. But, me being the clueless moron I am, I thought if I was interested in the same thing as him, and watched it, he'd suddenly magically notice me. So I managed to identify the web address, which led me to Yahtzee...and thus was born a relationship that will last a lifetime. Or until he stops. Or until I lose interest.

Been a fan of Jon Etheridge on YouTube for years, saw he uploaded Doraleus and Associates one day.
Thinking i should get hooked on a cheap web series like RedVSBlue (but not RedVSBlue) i clicked it, watched a few episodes and was hooked.
Ended up cycling through the episodes three times, had it on in the background while working. Was and still is very hooked.
Then i went on to watch Apocalypse Lane and Zero Punctuation.
I ended up registering just so i could compliment on their work, then saw some interesting threads in Hot Threads.
From then i gradually got more active, now The Escapist is a lovely addiction.

wow.. I can't remember... most likely ZP. or was it doomsday arcade... or there will be brawl... I remember watching all those on my early escapist days... wasn't until recently I actually signed up for the forums and read all the articles. its really great quality stuff on here.
Cliche`s are called such for a reason. The first time I came here was also because of Youtube, I saw the videos for the darkness and fable 1, and then there was another he had saying "go to escapist and see more" that's how I got here and I've stayed ever since.Mikazuki said:Title says it all really
For me it was Zero Punctuation after seeing Yahtzee's vids on YouTube, quite cliché really.

now i feel sick when i come on here when it isnt Wednesday... to much of the same clowns doing multiple shows on here..

Loading Ready Run moved over here so I had to start watching their amazing videos on this site. I actually click on a link to the Loading Ready Run website in order to click a video to come here.
I watch ZP, Unskippable, ENN, Extra Credits, and the new shows. But if Loading Ready Run decided to leave, I would most likely leave too. Maybe check back here for Extra Credits.
