Zero Punctuation. Escapist better be paying Yahtzee a shit tonne of money. If it weren't for him this site would proabably be ded.
Like everyone else. A friend introduced me to Zero Punctuation (Turok Review) and I've been here ever since.
Like alot of people here, Zero Punctuation at first for me. Then I saw some of the other shows they had here that were pretty good and then the forums caught my eye's and now this is where I hang my hat. I stay for the video's and all the friends I made here, I'll be here till I'm dead or the site goes dark. 
Mostly the forums itself, friends of mine kept posting links to articles inside an IRC channel i frequently visit, so i signed up, then i discovered There will be Brawl.
These days, i just visit it for the forums, the interesting news and Critical Miss....theres probably alot...so who watched loads of a certain video show because they thought the badges would be discontinued? *slowly raises hand*
Probably loads of content within the site itself, loads of comics and such...only read Critical Miss, never even read that weird anime comic where the logo looks like a hybrid of a fish/the cleeveland show logo.

I think it was an old March Mayhem event. Saw an ad for it and was looking to vote for my fav developer but chilled on the forums a bit and stayed.
It's a nice place. Only thing I dislike is a bit of bias towards PC gaming in the form of fanboys on the forums and favoritism by the writers occasionally. But still compared to other forums about gaming these are much easier to find a good discussion and don't get bogged down with flame wars and trolling attempts.

I could honestly quote almost everybody here, lol. I've been coming here irregularly since 2007/8 to watch Zero Punctuation when my wee buddy thought I'd like his Tomb Raider review because I've always been a big fan and I loved it ("Dude who does the funny Rayman style videos", "Who, Yahtzee/ZP?", "Aye, him" lmao!), been meaning to get an Escapist account for donkeys and finally got one just in June there. Now I watch Unskippable and Extra Credtz as well as lurking around the forums.Cheery Lunatic said:

I watched a parody of Zero Punctuation on YouTube, made by another Internet series I had been watching then, it was called "The N00b Effect"(hence my nickname) and it featured the unique critqueing way of Yahtzee, of whom I hadn't even heard of yet. That provoked my interest, so I decided to check it out. So, I guess, Yahtzee was the one who brough me tho The Es.
It doesn't really need saying again, but Zero Punctuation. After a while of glancing at all the other featured videos listed on the side of the screen I decided to check some out. Cut to the present day, where a large part of my day is spent listening/watching various members of LRR.
From TVTropes to 'There will be Brawl'. Awesome series with the best alternative characterization of Kirby, EVER. At one point or the other I decided to check out the other stuff they have here as well and now I've pretty much replaced 'Monday' with 'LoadingReadyRunDay', 'Tuesday' with 'TheBigPictureDay' and so forth ^^
