Bob Chipman gave himself a plug for his "Escape to the Movies" series in his "GameOverThinker" series that I used to watch on YouTube before he decided to post them somewhere else.

After that I explored the forums and clicked on Unskippable and Zero Punctuation.

I was watching a show called Pure Pwnage, and they did a parody of Zero Punctuation. I looked at the credits to find the site, and from there I came.

Kinda new to this forum thing but wanted to start a topic. So what originally brought you to the Escapist?

For me my friend told me about Zero Punctuation and loved it ever since
Extra Credits. I only picked up Zero Punctuation when I realized that no sane person would use Yahtzee to make an actual purchasing decision. Still, the guy is a riot. He made me want to try Branston Pickle. I still haven't, but almost.

Friends got me into Unforgotten Realms. Then I learned of Yahtzee and Doomsday Arcade which made me stay here. I miss Doomsday Arcade and Unforgotten Realms.

Speaking of things gone, what the hell happened to Creature Card Captor or whatever? That show barely had 5 episodes and its gone.

ZP. I saw his Halo 3 video on youtube and saw a link to the Escapist and followed it. The rest is history.

That's an easy question to answer, Unskippable.
Now if you asked me what's keeping me here, now that'd I'd have a hard time answering.

Somebody compared IGN's review of BFBC2 Vietnam with Yahtzee's BFBC2 review, and I loved it. Listening to a guy crack jokes about a game and still tell you about it beats a bored dude who doesn't like Fortunate Son.

Yahtzee. Specifically, when they were showing previews on XPlay.

I wonder how many people are still around from when they came for Unforgotten Realms...
I am. I was brought here by unforgotten realms but then I started watching other things here and began reading the articles and such so now this is a regular site for me.

Zero Punctuation - stayed because, screw it, another forum and Movie Bob is pretty good with taste of movies.

Also, EC.

for me, it started with G4's "x-play" when they started showing previews of Zero Punctuation, and I was intrigued about his point of view. That was a couple years ago, and haven't stopped since. A lot of the stuff here is gold, and it's a shame when it ends prematurely, like Extra Credits, end of the series or no.

Came here for Doraleous and Associates, and stayed for Extra Cedits. (I remember watching "the myth of the gun" out of curiosity and going "Good lord...these people are BRILLIANT!" and promptly started following them) Over time I've grown to enjoy most of the content here. Anything done by the LRR team is pretty much hilarious.

(oh yeah, I guess ZP is pretty cool too. xD )

It was Zero Punctuation, well technically it was a friend, but it was a Zero Punctuation video he linked me that led me to find out about this site. Then one day a thread caught my eye and I quickly made an account to join in the discussion. After doing so I came to realise how mature (most of) the community of the forums are and I decided to stick around.
