Firefox, then Chrome for other uses. For some reason I'm also quite partial to Netscape Navigator 9, even though in essence it's just a FF2 clone.

Firefox. Once I downloaded it five years back, I never looked back at that piece of shit Internet Explorer.

I hate to be the guy who says this but I know we had a thread on this last week, it had a poll and everything.

Either way Firefox, if you use Internet Explorer you're a absolutely blind man since it rarely displays things properly. Hell to display PNG24s on IE you had to insert a massive paragraph of code till recently. Then again that's only something someone who makes websites knows and only one of MANY reasons webmasters hate IE. It's garbage, it's such horrible garbage, it's the only secondary browser you have to check when making websites because there's always SOME problem.

In other news: Internet explorer can go suck on a floppy bunny ear.

Edit: Forgot why I use firefox, because it was the first browser I used with great addons, simplicity, things work nicely with it, did I mention the addons? Because the addons make it the best browser I've used.

Chrome, I tried using Firefox 1 day, then Chrome for 1 day, I did this for like a week and found Chrome much faster and easier to use.

This is news? I take your floppy bunny ear and raise you a rusty piece of pipe covered in algae.

Firefox. I'd likely switch to chrome the second I found out about an adblock plus equivalent as it is such a great browser.
There are already some addons which were ported from FireFox to Chrome. I suppoose there are more to come.
Anyway, AdBlock is available for Chrome and it even works a little bit better. You can now block what You want just by clicking on the AdBlock button and then on the element You want to be blocked. Something I miss in FF.

on topic:
I used to love Firefox, worked with it for 7 years now and it is the most used browser here in germany. But recently FF started to act floppy on my Mac. So I tried Chrome and some others to find an alternative, even if it's just temporarily. Chrome impressed me with speed and stability as well as the ever growing addon library. I wanted to use Safari, but the lack of addons kills it for me, Chrome is a good compromise between my all time favorite Firefox and Safaris WebKit engine which is very fast.

I once thought about switching FFs Gecko engine to WebKit would create an awesome browser called Saffire (Safari + FireFox, see what I did there?). Seems Chrome comes fairly close to my "dream".

Sorry OP here are just a few of the threads like yours
All 3 of those threads haven't had a post in at least 5 months.

It's a catch 22. If he recreates, as he has done here, he gets booed down with calls for search bar.

If he posts in one of those other threads, he gets booed down for necroing threads. He can't win either way.

OT: I use Chrome, but I'm not happy with its overall performance, so I'm thinking of going back to Firefox.

Google Chrome for me, it's annoying because some sites don't support it so I have to switch back to IExplorer to download something occasionally
