Do something to piss a man off, and you'll make a man unleash his inner monster.

PTSD questions solved :p
As serious and cruel as the condition is, yeah this!

Aside from insanity and psychological problems, love and enlightenment. Maybe sorrow too.

Yeah I just finished my most recent playthrough of Planescape torment, possibly the best written RPG videogame ever. (though there are a few I like more just in general)

So the major theme of the game; I must ask.

What can change the nature of a man?
I think change is usually spurred by an event or happening that the person in question has a huge connection to or with. If a man loves rain forests, then sees one burn down in person or ruined in person, he might change. He may become melancholy, or he could become angry...etc. :x
That's not bad, but that would change his attitude, perspective, and manner, but would it really change his nature?
If you seen something you loved torn down or otherwise erased, what do you think?
NOOOOO! I WILL DRESS AS A BAT AND FIGHT CRIME!
Ahem, I'd feel terrible and yes 99/100 times they'd be changed.

WHAT IS A MAN? A miserable pile of secrets. But enough of this. HAVE AT YOU!

Seriously, though, any sufficiently significant life event, or even any sufficient length of time and life experience can alter someone and how they perceive the world fundamentally.

I've never played it, but generic answer: Anything.

Every sensory experience you have changes your nature.

A man... just about anything. One individual is always in a constant state of personal evolution. Those changes might well be subtle, but they have a cumulative effect.

Changing the nature of man, As in human kind, follows along the same premise of constant evolution, however it runs more at glacial speeds.

All it really takes is a fundamental shift in accepted logic that forces reevaluation of current situations. If you lived your life thinking that the easter bunny is real and then come to realize without question that it isnt, it changes your mode of thinking which changes your nature and more often than not leaves you postulating what else is real and what is not, thus changing your nature from one of acceptance to one of inquisition.

Well, I can honestly say Time, Regret, and Trauma has changed me quite a lot, so I'm going to go with those.

It's happened a few times, and I would say it's more put me in closer touch with my nature, rather then changed it.
