Batman: The Animated Series.

Anyone who's seen the show- I don't have to explain why it's so awesome

Mighty Max, Batman TAS, and Beast Wars.

Mighty Max!? OMG Freakin' A! How did I forget that!?

And beast wars...

Dang now I kind of wnt to cry with nostalgia.

Our childhoods rocked when it came to cartoons.

They had pretty awesome plots that weren't dumbed down shitfests of today where adults writing dont' think kids can handle the complex plots or excessive cartoon violence(in the ones with no real continuous plot).

Looney Toons (or Tunes, whatever), Batman the Animated Series, and of course, The Adventures of Tin Tin.

These I suppose would be prime examples for me.

Robotech The Macross Saga

I drew so many veritech fighters when I was a kid. It was one of the things I drew the most. Mechs were definitely I faze I went through.

It also helped that the show wasn't that bad itself.

Pokémon

There is definitely nostalgia in me over the whole idea of "Pokémon". I'm not sure what part of my little-kid-self mind it stimulated but however it did it it did it very well.

Rocky and Bullwinkle

I remember I use to only be able to see R&B when I went to my grandfathers house which was hours away. Of the three I look back most fondly on this one.

Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, TMNT, Doug, and Hey Arnold. I loved those shows growing up.
Too bad just saying the word "omelet du fromage" (spelling?) doesn't make girls swoon over you.

Three Stooges.

Oh wait, you said cartoons.

Well I grew up with Pokemon, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Thundercats, Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, and pretty much anything on Toonami.

Those were the 90's, from 2000 on I watched Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, and a few others.

It was a good childhood...
*points at list* Remove Megas XLR and add DBZ, Gundam, and Yu-Gi-Oh and thats pretty much it

Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Mighty Max (Thanks for reminding me, DeadlyYellow!), Digimon Adventure, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (which... may not have been my childhood...), and Jackie Chan Adventures.

Most nostalgic? Well, I own too much of Animaniacs/ Pinky and the Brain, so I'll go with Jackie Chan. That was a good show.

Oh wow... I'm afraid I cant choose... My childhood was in late 80s early 90s, era otherwise known as "The Era of Kickass Cartoons".

(The Real) Ghost Busters, The Extreme Ghost Busters, Transformers, Beast Wars, TMNT, Mice Bikers from Mars, Thundercats, He-Man, Radical Cat Squadron, Superman, Batman, Voltron, Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, Tom and Jerry, Looney Toones, Welcome to Tazmania, Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Freakazoid... (anime time) Robotech, Guyver, DevilMan, Mazinger Z (aka Tranzor Z), G-Gundam... Sigh... Time for one of those "Best 10" vids I guess.

EDIT: WTF has happened to the era of kick-ass? Did someone go and de-ball the entire animation industry in the late 90s?
Yes. they effectively did. Drawing style and story telling hasn't been as bad as it is today since Mickeye mouse first showed his black and white face.

And a bunch of people got too sensitive to the "violence" in the cartoons.

Edit* and where the hell is Speed Racer in this thread?!

Pokémon. Ah, good times, good times. Except when it was one of those walking episodes....
Edit: And Digimon, BeyBlade, Yu-gi-oh. Now I feel sad...
I feel your pain. I think...

Also Jackie Chan Adventures, Billy and Mandy, Spongebob, Recess, Justice League, Kids Next Door, Transformers: Armada, Dexter's Lab, and best of all Samurai Jack.

But way before I had Dish Network and later Time Warner, it was Bugs Bunny. And Scooby-Doo. The one with the laugh track. Also Pokemon (again) and Dragon Ball Z.

My overall favorites were Pokemon, DBZ, Spongebob, Scooby-Doo, Samurai Jack, and Bugs Bunny.

I still watch Samurai Jack and Bugs Bunny. Why doesn't Cartoon Network recognize great when they see it? I can think of at least 3 great series that were canceled or put on hold, as well as Toonami.

Edit: And Centurions, man I love that show. I really wish Boomerang would play Boomerchan (or whatever the thing with all the great 80's cartoons was called) again. Too bad I was born in the 90's, I really envy you guys for not having to watch the semi-crap I had to put up with, and now pretty much all cartoons are complete shit. My friend watches some horrible show on Cartoon Network because "it isn't as bad as everything else."

Do reruns count? Cause if you Grew Up with the three stoogess you'd be at least 90. Unless you DID mean the terrible cartoon...
