OT: they should stop mixing the site around and changing it, it gets... annoying. Or let us change how it looks when we use our profiles, but just don't keep screwing around with decent designs.

That was the funniest thing I've seen in five days.

My pleasure, XKCD is a mixed bag between maths and programming I do not understand (slowly changing), stuff that no-one but the creator can make sense of and then finally, brilliant content.

I agree with all of yours and would say "This" to all but this. When you go to fullscreen, the quality WILL get worse. No stopping it unless you're made of magic.

...unless you're referring it to changing the pixel quality so that the video quality would stay the same, BUT rebuffering the video in the process. That can be turned off. Mooch around in the settings for a while, and you'll get it.

lol I didn't know people were actually waiting for them
I can probably do about 4 hours tonight. I'll have to encode them overnight then upload during the day.

I've also saved up some money so I'll be getting some sennheiser PC 350s after work (which have a reportedly good microphone) providing the store has them.

Return it to the old layout. Although I would keep some things that are nice about the new layout, specifically the video player itself. The old layout in my opinion was perfect though, much less confusing and easier to use.

I would create a part of the front page that was devoted to featured content, instead of most viewed like it is now. New youtube channels find it really hard to get off the ground in terms of views because they get buried underneath waves of other content.

When youtube was young, videos would be "featured" (put on the front page) if a youtube employee thought that the video was creative or well made enough to be deserving of it, regardless of who made them. This is how superb video makers like Charlie Mcdonnell managed to get noticed.

Now however, the only content that ends up on the front page is most viewed content, which is usually videos with bright yellow thumbnails using every cheap trick in the book to get subscribers, like shaytards or some other bile.

personally I dont really care if nudity is allowed or not its the principle of the thing mostly we are being treated like children. to be fair Im sure some children to go to youtube so some kind of age restriction would be needed.

its fine the way it is I guess still kinda urks me that "I" am being treated like a child becuase some kid might see a nipple for half a second.
