What's so bad about VEVO? I like that I can find the official video for songs, rather than a video collage made by a 7th grader in "art" class who's understanding of "audio quality" is about on par with their understanding of "true love".

Revert to star rating system and escapist level moderation in the comments to stop all the comment wars (EDIT: To clarify, by comment wars I don't mean flamwars, I'm referring more to how comments section seems to have become a contest to see who can get the most approval, instead of anything constructve to do with the video. That shit has to stop.) and maybe get something constructive going. On top of that, remove the silly character limit. Then I'd get to work making all the other parts nicer. But that would be top priorities.

Pretty sure I'd remove the stupid from it. I think we can all agree that a Stupidectomy performed on youtube would improve performance for all.

1. Kill VEVO, bury in unmarked grave on the Moon.
2. Celebrate with YouTube Poop marathon.
3. ????
4.PROFIT!
5. Moderate all comments.
6. Ban all Halo videos that aren't Red vs. Blue.

1, their videos don't work on mobile platforms like iPhones.
2, their audio/video sometimes gets really out of sync.
3, the concept of it takes the "you" out of YouTube. Instead of letting people post what they want, specific channels are made for music so that the website can earn money. At least, that's how it is to my understanding.

OT: I just really want them to get rid of the thumbs up/down system for comments, and the like/dislike system for videos. Ever since those were released, the comments have sucked even harder than I thought was possible.
