What city would you destroy

I can't believe this thread has gone 2 pages without anyone correcting the mis-conception that Afghanistan is a city, while it is in fact A COUNTRY!

Anyway as for city, I'd love to see the Vatican swallowed up by fiery cracks running deep into the earth. Preferably at some important even where both the pope and all the cardinals are there, for added effect
