None, I just collect KnightSaga issues (a lengthy Batman story arc running from April 1993 to August 1994) as a hobby. That's it.

I don't have a lot of comics, and nearly all of that is manga.

I got the first 22 volumes of Berserk, all 6 volumes of Akira, the entire Genshiken series (9 volumes), most if not all of Gunsmith Cats I reckon, a couple of volumes of Battle Angel Alita and El-Hazard, and a couple of other obscurer ones. I got Watchmen too, as well as a hardcover version of Kick-Ass where for some stupid reason the narrative is all out of wack.

I read all of Y - The Last Man. It was pretty damn good, except when it wasn't. That ending tho... phew. Why, you bastard, WHY?

I'm currently reading Saga. Also good, if bizarre at times.

As a kid I faithfully bought each week's issue of The Phantom. On reflection, it was shit. Even back then it was something of a guilty pleasure.

I don't have much truck with comics in general. Too dominated by superhero stuff that never ends. I like my stories to have a conclusion. Remember when Marvel were teasing "the death of Wolverine" a while back and everyone reacted with a great rolling of eyeballs because they knew that he'd eventually be resurrected so the show could go on? Yeah, that's a method of storytelling I have zero fucking interest in.

But Secret Six just came out!

OT: I'm not much into Marvel's main universe, mostly because the continuity seems even more Looney Tunes than DC's hilariously contrived and poorly structured New 52. I have been planning on checking out Amazing Spider-Man, but that's pretty much it.

On the other hand, I have actually been enjoying a fair number of New 52 titles.

- I really love Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman. Genuinely think it's probably my favorite comic series I've read so far.

- Geoff Johns' run on Superman has been pretty enjoyable so far and I've been rather digging his work on Justice League.

- The Flash is starting to lose me but I thought Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato did a great job with it and their work on Detective Comics has kept me interested as well.

- I've kept going for Batman Eternal and Futures End every week (though the latter flounders quite often).

- I've enjoyed Batgirl and Supergirl and I'm interested in seeing where they go next.

- The restart of Teen Titans is far better than the initial run was, though it's got some pacing and clarity issues.

- I didn't particularly like Cliff Chiang's artwork on Wonder Woman, but now that Meredith and David Finch have started working on it I'm intrigued again.

- Arkham Manor and Gotham Academy have piqued my interest as well, and I've been really loving the artwork in the latter.

- Peter Tomasi's Batman and Robin has had its ups and downs, but I still want to see where it goes next and it at least had enough of an impact for me to check out his first issue on Superman/Wonder Woman.

- I'm really hoping Genevieve Valentine can bring Catwoman out of the hole it had dug itself into.

- Secret Six is going to have to move along pretty rapidly in the next issue or two to keep me coming back, but I am at least going to read the next one.

There are a few ongoing ones I've been keeping up with but haven't actually read very far yet, as well, like Harley Quinn and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

There are tons of lines that have been cancelled I've been reading through, though. I didn't read comics when I was younger.

Yeah sorry Coraline and yeah Blacksad if one of my favourite, I read the first two (well the first one had the stories in one book) and I hoping the library would have Amarillo next!

Just a jokey remark at the expense of phrasing.

I just think there's a bit of amusement in saying one is "keeping up with" something that only has a single issue which just came out a few days ago.

EDIT: Oh, I'm probably going to follow Sex Criminals and ODY-C as well, once I get around to actually searching them out.

Ah, I get it! =D That's actually pretty funny!

I've been planning to get my hands on the Sex Criminals trade for months now.

right now I'm just trying to catch up on transfomers: more than meets the eye. it's a good book to, like 4 parts transformers, 3 parts star trek, 2 parts firefly, and 1 part farscape.

Pretty much the only I keep up with is The Walking Dead and even then I only get the compendium collections

At least with TWD there's only ONE continuity to follow and none of this extra-dimensional nano-machine sciencey magic fuckery

Just zombies and assholes, the way I like it!

I tend to buy collected editions of various stories with the Marvel or DC imprints (usually "Elseworlds" for the latter). But I also like certain series, such as:

*Elephantmen - Gritty sci-fi noir with African animal hybrids.
*Top Ten and Astro City - Awesome superhero tales with their own history and mythology.
*I Kill Giants - A surprisingly heartwarming story about a girl obsessed with giants and is even prepared to fight them.
*Frankenstein's Mobster - Another crime story, this one taking place in a world where Hammer Horror monsters exist alongside humans.
*Blacksad - Yet another crime story with anthro animal characters, though this one is set in the 1950's.

...This should show exactly what kind of things I'm in to...

Been thinking about getting into comics, but it's hard to know where to start. I got a few spider-man & fantastic four comics from the 60s and they're pretty entertaining.

Also I've been rereading the sandman lately. Anyone who hasn't read it should do themselves a favour and pick it up.

Well, first of all the chapters aren't in chronological order. Initially I thought this was just the way the narrative was structured, but then chapters that had come before got copy-pasted later on. So either I'm too dumb to grasp this comics narrative, or I just bought a faulty copy.

Most of the stuff I read happens to be from image, Saga, Fuse ect I also tend to stop start a lot. Ultimatly self contained non superhero stuff

I don't really bother with DC/Marvel superheros aren't really my thing and its annoying trying to keep up, I am thinking of picking up with Batwoman however...even if there is controversy under its current direction

Outside of a large variety of (mainly shojo) manga? Just the Fables series. I got interested after the Wolf Among Us game Telltale did, read a few issues online, then went out and go the shiny hardcover editions. It's really good!

Although for whatever reason Bigby's face always looks like it's melting in the main series of comics... when they get a different artist it's usually fine but the main guy(s?) draw his face in such a weird way...

Whatever's on sale, usually. Well, on sale and I'm remotely interested in. Been reading a lot of Batman of late, all "classic" arcs, most of which I haven't read before. Couple of Crow comics, Aniihilation, and if we're counting Manga, I purchased several Bleach volumes of late.
