I've recently ordered a PS3. And with Assassins Creed II just around the corner I'm left with a decision. PS3 or 360?

I have the original on 360, but then I'd also love to try out my new PS3 with a game series I hold close to my heart...

I'm sure there won't me much difference but I've heard that cross platform games are often a little better on the 360.

What is your opinion? :)

Does it even matter? Or do the systems have some exclusive content?

If they dont then go for PS3 it'd probably run smoother

Personally, unless I read that there is something really wrong with the PS3 version of any game, I go with that, because the console doesn't sound like double jet engines during takeoff, other than that it should be the same.

I agree with Carnagath. Unless it is reported that there is something seriously wrong with it, go with the PS3 version, that way you won't have to worry when your 360 inevitably shits itself and dies. This is speaking from experience.

Also, if you have a PSP you can play Ezio with a fucking chain-mace.

Maybe even a scythe.

A scythe! A fucking scythe!

Also, there were some ACI PS3 issues, but they have reported they are now building both games from the ground up on both systems, so no issues.

i have a ps3, and i've found a lot of reviewers say there are minor issues with the ps3 over xbox. i've never found any, but just putting that out there. not stopping me getting it however, i'm a renaissance history buff and though i'd bet the designers have taken a bit of artistic license...

ITS FOURTEENTH CENTURY VENICE, MAN.

I'd say get it on 360 for exclusive DLC. That's really the only drawback to getting it on PS3.

Atmon came out and said there was no physical difference between the two.

360, I felt that the first game on the PS3 had worse graphics.

I am most likely wrong considering I didn't look at anything about console exclusive, but I know that if you pre-order at Gamestop you get two extra areas and extra side missions. I just figured it was prob xbox exclusive for that since I have only heard about that from OXM reports on Live. I could be wrong and it could be universal.

Why do people make these threads? If your not a fanboy with blind faith that one version will be better than the other, then you'll just get it for either the console you own, or if you own both, then get the one thats cheaper. If you don't follow that logic, you are offically a hopeless fanboy.

Mid-end and high-end PCs have better-looking games nowadays. Sorry, but you would be correct a year ago... okay, a year and a half ago.

I'll be playing it on PC. I had a crappy PC when the first game came out, then upgraded and it ran awesome. It's even better now, with over-recommended settings.
