Mid-end and high-end PCs have better-looking games nowadays. Sorry, but you would be correct a year ago... okay, a year and a half ago.

I'll be playing it on PC. I had a crappy PC when the first game came out, then upgraded and it ran awesome. It's even better now, with over-recommended settings.
I did not realize it was being released for PC (kinda obvious when I think about it), yea you are correct, PC will make better use of the graphics

I'd say get it on 360 for exclusive DLC. That's really the only drawback to getting it on PS3.
Exclusive DLC?

Where'd you hear about this?
I am most likely wrong considering I didn't look at anything about console exclusive, but I know that if you pre-order at Gamestop you get two extra areas and extra side missions. I just figured it was prob xbox exclusive for that since I have only heard about that from OXM reports on Live. I could be wrong and it could be universal.
It is universal.
I stand corrected, thank you.

Personally, unless I read that there is something really wrong with the PS3 version of any game, I go with that, because the console doesn't sound like double jet engines during takeoff, other than that it should be the same.
Might be worth just comparing the boxes side by side, if the choice is one you are afforded to make. For some reasons Brutal legend is only 720p on PS3 (unless the box lied to me), I'd recommend just checking the boxes in the back of the store, and waiting a few days so that you can hear if there are any major issues on a particular console.

See above point, just because it can (arguably) put out better visuals than it's microsoft coutnerpart, previous titles seem to have in fact gone the other way. I assume that whatever platform it was initially designed on (as oppose to ported too) will be the prettier, smoother version..The question is, in this case, is it xbox or playstation?

Neither. They were both built from the ground up.

If there is any game that doesn't belong on the PC, its assassins creed. I'd go for the 360 version, but that's because I'm a fan-boy

PC.
The best console on the market.
Played AC1 on the PS3, had to stop every 15 minutes to throw up, no thanks.

I've recently ordered a PS3. And with Assassins Creed II just around the corner I'm left with a decision. PS3 or 360?

I have the original on 360, but then I'd also love to try out my new PS3 with a game series I hold close to my heart...

I'm sure there won't me much difference but I've heard that cross platform games are often a little better on the 360.

What is your opinion? :)
Well since you want to try your new Ps3? Most logical choice would be then get it for Ps3?

I'm just sayin, But I would get it for Xbox360.

I'd say go with your PS3. You've just gotten it, so you might aswell use it then.

I'd get it for 360 since you played the first one on 360. That's what I intend to do, but I have this weird compulsion for consistency, if I start a series on one console I tend to keep it on that console.

But in the end it comes to personal preference, or like so many have said before me... which ever is cheapest.

I have both, but if it's multi-platform I always go for 360. I got the 360 first and I just prefer it now. Mind you last gen I hated the xbox...

I guess it comes down to what will you ultimately prefer to use most of the time.

Yeah, I think I'll probably end up getting the PS3 version for the fact I'll want to play my shiny new (or not shiny in the case of the PS3 slim...) console.

My boyfriend's getting it for PS3, I'm getting it for 360, we get the black and white versions, muahahaha.

I doubt it will make any difference. If you get it for 360, just download it onto your harddrive, PS3 will more than likely go ahead and automatically do it for you.
They'll probably look the same regardless of console.

I really wanted to say neither but since it's you...

Get it on the PS3. It makes no difference at all but you'll thank yourself for not having to put up with the 360's noise during cutscenes. Also you just got a PS3 ordered so why not start your collection with a game you love?
Wise words, beautifully wise words. :D
