I listen to Danger Days when I need to stay awake, but if My Chemical Romance isn't for you I'd just say listen to your favorite high-octane CD.

Or soda. Lots of soda.

Eat nuts or lean white meat, NO SUGAR, get a 20 minute or so nap this can be dangerous if you have commitments do not do this unless you have someone who could wake you, but a short nap will revitalise you, caffiene is good also, and take two teabags, make tea with them then let them cool and place it on your eyes, this will reduce puffiness and make you feel wide awake. Trust me on this I do all nighters alot and have studied this shit.

EDIT: keep it on your eyes for 3-5 minutes.

My favorite sleep delay is wikipedia cruising. Find something you're interested in, click every relevant link and find out how they relate.

When the sun starts to rise, find the album you're most into to keep your energy up. From the halcyon days, my album was Black Sails in the Sunset. Nowadays, I'd have to give it to Crack the Skye or Part the Second. Just something that you know can keep your interest/enthusiasm for an extended period of time.

Punch yourself pretty hard in the thigh. Sharp pain won't keep you awake for long but a persistent ache will do the job just fine.

Do what I'm doing right now; surf the internet while wishing you could just sleep normally rather than waking up three or four hours after going to bed and feeling fully rested, unable to sleep until late in the afternoon every other week.
[sub]Actually, by making this thread, I guess that's what you're doing...[/sub] Congrats!

Inspired by a previous post and an Extra Credits from a while back, I preset you with a challenge.

On Wikipedia, using only links on each page, I want you to see if you can get from the article of TurboTax to the article for MLP:FiM. I'll do the same, let's see who can do it with the least clicks. Game on.

UPDATE: Holy shit, that wasn't easy. It took me a whole 9 steps.

TurboTax -> Digital Rights Management -> Ubisoft -> Playstation 3 -> Playstation Network Outage -> Anonymous -> 4chan -> Lolcat -> List of Internet Phenomena -> My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Best way to stay awake, and I've learned this from a four and a half year so far University career, keep drinking water. More effective than energy drinks or coffee. Caffeine and sugar may bring you up and they will always crash you down. Water keeps you alert and also keeps you going to the toilet. It's also free.

I tried putting Berocca tablets in Red Bull. It kept me up but it also gave me a rapid heartbeat.

Crystal meth. Only kidding. Sugar and caffiene might give you a boost but you will plummet later. When I need to stay awake I just try to enjoy the relaxed drowsy feeling.
