I just jump on board with other people's gift. Nothing says I don't care like mooching gifts.
I'll second this.
Hooray for parents buying gifts and you casually sliding your name in on the tag.

Socks! The ultimate bad present.
Ohh...I like getting socks. Nothing like the feel of a nice, new pair of socks.

Sweet.

On topic: The best is to get them a gift card with such a small value, that it's practically worthless. Like $10 at future shop. $10 isn't going to get you anything, except a 10 year old movie (That sucks), or batteries.

It's the ultimate insult, because for them to 'enjoy' your gift, that have to spend their OWN money. Suckers!
Actually, that's just brilliant! Thanks for the idea!

Nothing. I'm still young enough to get away with giving distant relatives jack shit.
This. Hopefully I can pull this off a little longer.

Some flowers for my grandmama. The rest of the family isn't worth the trouble.

I only give presents to people when I find something I know they will truly enjoy or appreciate. If I don't see anything that I know is just the right gift for them, I don't get them anything. Everyone in my family knows this and no one minds. Most of my relatives are the same way. Some years I get gifts from them, some years I don't. I always send my closest relatives at least a card (sometimes an email card if I find a really cool one).
