Well, yeah. It's something you really don't want your parents to see.

I also had a stash of beer and a couple of fake IDs hidden in the house.

I really never had to hide anything from my mom, except some personal stuff, that I just kept out of sight.

Her husband, though... He doesn't like arachnids, so when I spent last summer there and took some of my scorpions with me, me and mum neglected to tell him I kept them in my room.

Well, it varies from province to province, with the median drinking age being 19. Where I am from in Alberta however, the drinking age is 18, the lowest age in Canada, which is shared by Manitoba and Quebec.

I would say what I have hidden over the years, but people I know sometimes read the forums, so I would rather not...
Is your hidden thing the fact you drink human blood perhaps? no? damn.

Ahh fair enough, got to admit thats abit weird having it change from province to province you would figure people would just go for a couple day trip and get smashed in Alberta. I take it you canadians beat the americans when it comes to drinking though right? I have no idea why i consider it a contest, but i do... must be a British thing.

Token hidden thing:
I hid the fact that i started to really enjoy the music they listened to for a while as me and silly 14 was like "That so like uncool!!!!". Their music choice is actually pretty fantastic.

Good that stuff will kill you, no kidding.

OT: Candy, don't want to share it with everyone else, so i hide it in my room, not very well mind.
Everything kills you eventually. Just stopped because it was making me mind go a bit flakey

Yeah, but it was mostly stuff like porn stories I wrote with my girlfriend. We were weird as fuck.

I did do my best to stop my dad from finding any of my exercise stuff after I got into powerlifting, though. For some reason, he seems very opposed to my investing money in any hobby supplies other than books, despite the fact that so far everything I've bought has seen more use than any volume or collection thereof amounting to the same price would have. Ironically, the most expensive items I've got on the physio side are all books, but those were received as presents from relatives (on my personal request, of course). It wasn't that difficult, though, since he stopped interfering in my life pretty shortly before I developed the financial resources to buy any of the stuff.

My parents hate weapons of any kind. So everytime they come over I have to hid my bow and samurai sword. That and because they think archery is dangerous and that a zompocalypse will never happen.

Oh and Porn (Wooo Bewbies)
.... Ok I'm done...

This, the classic 'under the mattress' seemed to do the trick

It was much harder finding porn before the internet (pun intended)

Alcohol. They despise the stuff, I on the other hand love it. It's more a of a don't ask don't tell relationship now. They know I've got some, but I'm beyond their control now days.

And cigarettes was another big one, but doesn't matter anymore b/c I quit.

My parents dont exactly want me going around town having safe sex...
Well would they rather you had unsafe sex?

I hid a report once, cause it was bad. Apart from that nothing.

By the way, is the drinking age across all of America 21, or is it different state to state?
There was a law signed into effect in 1984 that severely reduced a state's federal highway funding if they didn't conform to a drinking age of 21. It's why until recently the legal age in Louisiana was 18.

Little-known secret: While 21 is pretty much a national drinking age in the U.S., many states have exceptions for drinking on private propery.

I have never had to really hide anything from my parents, as they are quite liberal and laid back people who, as long as the police didn't come knocking on their door, let me do whatever I wanted (within reason). I have also never had to hide report cards because 1.) The teachers always gave them to my parents in person, and 2.) I was (and still am) a nerd, and never got anything below a B.

Formerly, alcohol, sex, and world of warcraft (3 best things?). Now they know about all of that, so the only thing I'm hiding now is cigarettes, but I'm winding down on the smoking.
