What did YOU do this Valentines day?

I wont go into details but dejection and an emotional breakdown may have had something to do with it...........
I hate mondays.................oh and Valentines day for the express reason that no one makes cards anymore.............the events of my day have nothing to do with it.

tell me about it. my valentines day sounds similar. i spent the day looking for someone to spend valentines day with. i would've looked sooner, had i known i would be single, but wasn't in the "single" situation till sunday night. been with the girl for 2and a half years, engaged and everything and she broke up with me right after church on valentines eve night. even asked if i wanted my ring back. i was speechless. what's your story?

Woke up, went to school, went to the gym and flirted with one of the PTs, got home and made some food, watched Top Gear and went to bed early.

Nothing because I am at uni but I went on a date with my girlfriend over the weekend and her present for valentines day was a song. Fuck the whole commercialised valentines day, make something and show effort rather than money

Played the Valentines Day and lesbian romance missions on Frontierville, friends on Facebook helped me get all the peach pies I needed for the expansion mission. Got a free cookie from Subway due to the holiday. Me and my parents went to Sees and got some chocolates(I learned that the chocolate that I'm most addicted to was the bordeau). Sat for a few hours on a archive binge on the webcomic MenageA3. After that, I went to see Swashbuckler with Peter Boyle and Darth Vader.

Going to sketch Super Mario Bros' 3 Big Bertha for a project after I'm done checking the webcomic pages I missed.

Went to college, played video games, hung out with friends. I made it a point to not pleasure myself on Valentine's Day. Come to think of it, it's 12:33 am, no longer Valentine's Day...

I woke up, called in to work to find out what time I had to come in. Turns out I have, well yesterday and today off. So I took a walk for about an hour, then I did nothing else all day. At least, nothing productive.

Yeah...I don't understand why Australians have started recognising valentines day in recent years.

Valentine's Day, huh? I call it [insert regular day of the week here].

Woke up, studied, went to uni to write an exam, went home, had a nice meal, studied some more, and concluded the day with a few episodes of Superman (TAS).

Went to school, went to drama, wondered how sad it would seem if I went alone to the 8:30 Valentines day showing of Breakfast at Tiffanys at the ultra-posh cinema I pass on my bus-route, got home fairly late as a result, did my homework (had a truck-load for maths, ended up leaving my book at home like an idiot...good thing I was able to catch my math teacher in the library this morning and explain the situation before he could chew me out), glumly realized I had almost no time to put in some work on the various assignments I have atm, so said "bollocks to that" and spent my last half hour, hour playing TF2 and surfing the web before bed.

Come to think of it the only real sense I got that it was Valentines Day was my history teacher remarking that it was "St Valentines day", probably stemming from the fact that he's a yonder-year (old) Irish Catholic (which would explain why he chewed out the class for not knowing which, by its numerical placement, of the ten commandments was listed in this photograph)

Took my GF out for dinner at a ludicrously priced though not at all shabby Spanish restaurant, then sat through the movie 'Burlesque' gnawing my own limbs off and praying for merciful death. Turns out it was her 'time of the month', so no sweet reward for me D:. Lay with her until she fell asleep, then played Dragon Age 'til dawn. Good times all round.

Went into Oxford and found out the fucking library is shut, walked the dog, ate scones and then sat in my pants watching X-men.
