Why wait for the early bacon, just start baconmas now!!

We (UK) tend to open one present on Christmas Eve. I opened up the 5 Disc Final Cut of Blade Runner. Made me a happy bunny :D
I WASN'T TOLD ABOUT THIS

I always open all my presents on the 25th D:
To make up for it, start your own tradition of exchanging gifts on the 23rd. At least then you'd be original.

Is only christmas eve here in the UK still, but I've got nothing for tomorrow and have spent the day laying flooring at my friends house.
Feels bad man.

I haven't opened anything yet.

But i pretty much know of everything i got, because i didn't ask for very much; because you seem to not give a crap about presents when you get older.

A box of cereal that is being shipped to me because you cant buy it in this state. Thanks, mom for the delicious cereal! A used copy of Gears 2 (Again) And mass effect 2 (Again). I wanted to replay ME2 a few times before ME3 comes out, and it was only 10 bucks.

The only other thing is just some microsoft points. I'm pretty happy with that. Like i said... You tend to care less and less about what you get and how much you get when you are older.

Haven't heard of this before, although we did used to do it when I was younger, but that was really just me and my brother nagged away until we were given a present to shut us up :p

Things I know I'm getting, because I picked them out myself:

  • My parents' old Prologic reciever, which has been sitting under their bed for almost 10 years

Sins of a Solar Empire and Galactic Civilizations II, which I found on sale for $15 (By the way, if anyone still has has last minute shopping to do, the $10 a piece jewel case PC games are currently 2 for $15 at target.)

Star Trek: Shattered Universe and Orphen: Scion of Sorcery for the PS2, which I found in the bins of disc-only PS2 games at Gamestop

a wired Madcatz Xbox 360 controller, which will mainly get used for 2d platformers on my PC.
Things I'm hoping to get this year, but don't know for sure I am getting:

  • the new Wheel of Time book.
The only things that were on my list to begin with were the controller, the reciever, and the book, but I found a few things while out shopping that I wanted, so I told my parents and my sister that I wanted them too. It's kind of hard to hide the fact that someone is buying something for you while they're out shopping with you, especially when they didn't know you wanted before you saw it and said you wanted it :p

If I have the time, remember to do it, and feel like it, I might update tomorrow when I've actually unwrapped everything.

I know what you mean, I only wanted cash for my last birthday. But then I realized the wonder that is Amazon.com and figured I'd register for some stuff that you can't get here in Sweden. Though that kind of ruined the surprise...

And when my sister comes down she'll probably give me some game :D.

Really? Huh, maybe it isn't as widespread as I thought, I shouldn't have talked for the whole of the UK. Down in Southampton everyone seems to, and I know my family in Scotland do. Show your parents this and try to get a present tonight ;D
i feel cheated, for 19 years i've been forced to open my presents on Christmas day, i might sue.

I'd be on board, but to clarify is baconmas going to replace Christmas or is it going to have it's own date? i think i would be fine with either.

Nothing (unless you include what I bought myself on the Steam sales), they didn't even bother to send an email or call this year, lovely...
That sucks! Well, you get a "Merry X-mas!" from me at least.
Yay thanks ! :)

I'd prefer a separate date, as we already get bacon on christmas.
