What did you get for Holiday 2014?

Since my brother and I share all the games we get, I have quite a lot of presents!

I got a:

Serperior(the Pokemon) Plushie from my sister. I've only hugged it about 87 times. XD
Kirby Triple Deluxe on 3DS
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on DS.
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I already had Omega Ruby, but I can't help but get both versions.
Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
A Zelda calendar. I didn't know Nintendo had official Zelda calenders, but they do!
20 dollars on my 3DS account.

My brother got:

Metal Gear Ground Zeroes on PS4
Team Ico Collection. I'm pretty excited to finally try Shadow of the Colossus out for myself.
Killzone Shadow Fall
Batman Arkham Origins
Infamous Second Son(probably won't play that myself)
Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie on N64. Really excited to play these games too.

My car got stolen more or less week before Christmas and a day after my birthday, does that count as something?

I got pretty much nothing, I bought myself a Fiddler cap which is awesome and a couple of scarves, but those aren't really gifts and I only have them because I felt like I needed something after my car got stolen, if I'm honest I really hate this time of the year, it sucks.

Man looking at all the post, I think to myself man the most games I ever got in a one holiday was 2. I was usually lucky to get 1. This year I got 2 hoodies and a dresser (I did need it). Christmas in my household has become lets just buy practical things for everyone except for my nieces.

Also went to the Boxing Day sales down here in Aus and scored a 24" samsung monitor for $170 off (they actually gave me a series 5 instead of the series 3 I paid for shhhh) and a Sony 2.1 soundbar for $100 off.

I bought myself a new PC capable of running things on 60 fps or more, since i had forgotten what it felt like.. Then theres 100$ in cash from my mom, which i didn't expect since noone in our family is in the mood for celebrating due to certain events, now i'll have to get something for her and i have no idea what.

I got a $50 Visa gift card (hello Steam sales) and a laptop cooling pad. Desperately needed since my laptop has been overheating lately during more intensive game sessions.

My family didn't have a chance to get the other things I asked for, so I imagine I'll get those in the next few days. Maybe. Only specific game I asked for was Persona Q. My Christmases have been limited to one game and a bit of cash generally for the past few years, so this was a little better than usual.

I got some Axe pproducts, some cologne even though I've never worn any, and 130$.

I got some nice dapper clothing, a butterfinger, and $150+ from the fam.

And since I already have a WiiU, I treated myself to a PS4 from Best Buy since they had one hell of a sale on it! So hurrah! (now to wait in agonizing pain for Bloodborne and whenever Kojima wants to set a date for his Phantom Feel Fest Five)

Now here's the fun gift: My cousin got me Alien: Isolation on the PS4 without even realizing I don't own one yet. Would have been really awkward if I never ordered my PS4...
that and i'm keeping quiet about how I already own A:I on PS3 >v>

Considering that the outing is a thing he's done every year for many years, I don't really blame him all that much. Yeah, he could be nicer about it. And he actually was. When he came back after the first portion of the day, he found me in bed unable to sit up and running a fever, so he got me some water & medication, and helped me sit up so I could take it. Later, when the fever died down (but was still very tired) he invited me to the dinner and the movie (The Interview, go watch it) portion of the day.

And I can't have or show pride, because evidently that's bad (or as most people have told me).

Isn't this the guy who lied about going to Florida with his family and instead flew over to Chicago to sleep with your friend? Why don't you ditch him once and for all? He's an asshole.

Back to the topic at hand, when I returned to Queens, my brother gifted me a Ghostbusters Lego set. While it's nice, I don't really have anywhere to put it, and I'm at a point in life where I could really use some more practical gifts.

Man, It's been years since I got any Christmas presents, and I'm only in my 20's! Not that it bothers me tbh, since my attention shifted from 'getting stuff' to family togetherness a long time ago.

My sister came down from interstate for the holiday. That's gift enough for me.
