I'm overseas right now, but he got a nice picture of me in my dress whites next to the security boats I'm usually driving.

Kind of a "Hey, look, you were a good dad because I'm here and not in prison" kinda thing, you know?

Nothing...Not thst he doesn't deserve it or that I have a violent opposition to fathers day but because i am lazy. Also, i lost my phone and don't have his number so i can't text or call him. Oh well.

Well, almost the same.

I haven't seen my father for 15 years, so yeah, also didn't get him anything. And my grandfather lives out of town, and I haven't met him, so I didn't get anything for him, either (not that I'd really do it even if I did).

A card.

Also, since he's a gamer and a massive Batman fanboy, Arkham Asylum. He was quite pleased.

Oops I forgot...
Also there's a large amount of people saying "haven't seen him in years".

Wowzers.

For us, Father's Day is the first Sunday of September.

In saying that, it was my birthday today, so I got him the ability to buy me a present.

I think he liked it.
I actually snarfed!

My dad lives 500 miles away so for today he's getting a phone call wishing happy fathers day HOWEVER i'm going home on Tuesday and i bought him a CD "The best of Melanie" my dad has her vinyl records but none of her cd's, now he can listen to her in the car. The album has special meaning as well because one of the songs is titled "Baby Day" which he used to sing to my mum whilst she was pregnant with me.

Well, he's not out of bed...so, I'm planning on giving him a hug if/when he wakes up. He's the hardest person to buy for ever, so he's normally happy with that.

Father's day is five months from now where I live. So I haven't gotten my dad anything today. I did help him restore some of his Hickory golf clubs yesterday though.

I got him a shirt from the Hofbrauhaus in Pittsburgh and a coffee mug from Robert Morris. Hopefully he'll be happy, because he never did really like these kinds of holidays.

It turned out that last weekend my mum told me that it was fathers day then - so my dad basically got his fathers day cards early :S

I haven't bought anything for him, he didn't want anything. However I did pay for his new computer that is on the way, hopefully that will count :)

I can't really get something from my dad, since he's somewhere around the west African Coast. However, he gets back in a month or so.

Nothing, my parents hate these "fake holidays"
As do mine. However, I got my dad some new slippers because the smell from his old ones can kill from fifty paces...

I got him a pack with beers around the world. He's into alcoholic beverages so I guess this hits the spot.
