The most recent significant purchase. It's a pretty good deal considering you not only get the Cauldron of Blood, but also a special character and a hero character in the same set. Plus I'm making a Transcendent C'tan out of the statue for my Necron army, so more savings there. I bought a carton of milk and some food yesterday, but I don't usually think of food as "purchases" in the same way like video games and shoes, for example.
I bought Hotel Transylvania 1 and 2 dvds cos it was on offer (first film is free when you buy the sequel). Ok technically the offer had finished (I didn't knew they only do a week deal only) but since they didn't took the signs off, it went in my favour (retail rules, if the deal/ offer sign/ stickers are on it, you are obligate to the deal/ sales).
Ok I haven't seen the film myself but I wanted to (I don't download films nor am I part of a subcription service like Netflick) and I have respect for Genndy Tartakovsky.
As to whay I'm buying next, it's pretty much paying the next dental appointment checkup (next week). Ok that doesn't count as "buy" so after that I am most likely to order a meal from KFC. I loved me some kfc chickens!
I didn't buy it because of the "gaming" moniker either. I just honestly like the look of the chair, and most reviews said it was pretty sturdy, even for a guy my weight. So far so good, AMAZING amount of sitting angles.
Yesterday I "purchased" my badge for Otakon in Baltimore, Maryland. Only had to pay $8 for shipping since I subscribed to this website for $35 and they gave you a free badge coupon (Badges are $85 otherwise!)
Next I'll probably buy Far Cry: Primal after reviews of the PC version start pouring out. I'm hoping to actually not get burned by another Far Cry game at launch like I have since Far Cry 3 (almost always poor performance/stuttering issues)
This noise machine [http://www.andertons.co.uk/bass-guitar-fx/pid32603/cid578/digitech-bass-whammy-pedal.asp] is turning up tomorrow. I'm going to run it through a whole bunch of distortion too so I can get some serious noise rock on the go-
Then it was a new mouse. The Logitech MX Master. I had to break my ban on Logitech products, but all the reviews said it was a true successor to the original MX so I gave it a shot.
As for my next purchase, it will either be Superhot (Not sure if I want it now, or 6 months from now on sale), or if I don't get that, my preorder for a softcover copy of Star Wars: Dark Disciple will probably drop before I actively buy anything else.
I just got the Mega Man Legacy Collection for the 3DS, The Devil's Third thanks to it being printed onto disc again and, an Elgato. I'm still playing with the Elgato and it's clear that I'm going to need a new mic and some video editing software but I'm getting a hang of using and setting up the thing.
Other than that I found a pristine copy of Devil May Cry 2 at a Goodwill, a decent looking copy of Monster Rancher 3 at an indie-gaming shop and, a half-dozen comics because my pull list started to bloat...also because the new Spider-Man #1 seemed interesting to me. I like Miles Morales though not quite as much as Jaime Reyes...yet.
I've also been getting a not-quite daily ice coffee from my store's Starbucks...it's a venti ice coffee with 2-pumps of white mocha, 2 pumps caramel and 1 pump toffee nut. It's sweet and I love it.
A new catalytic converter (pardon my hysterical weeping). On a much brighter note, I'm planing a week's vacation hiking, so I'm buying a new camp stove.
Well what's there not to like about Rocket League. After playing it for just under an hour, I'm already thinking of playing competitive soon after more training and bot battles.
On sale as well on PSN. The early 1900's American gangster era inspired side-scroller; looks to be a refreshing change from the AAA games I've been playing for the past couple of months.
The entire X space sim series on sale from Steam for $9.99. Oh and after 10 years with the same television, a 29" 720p Samsung, I'm upgrading to this -
Sony KDL50W800C 50in 1080p 3DTV. It took the price dropping to $100 lower than I originally paid for the 29" but there ya go. I could've gotten 4k but every review I read said that it's not noticeable unless you get a full wall-size screen, and I wanted 3D so that increased the price to more than double in most cases.
I'm actually getting the Wildflower flavor from Whole Foods Supermarket. Just couldn't find the pic online.
Raw unfiltered crystalized honey from American bees tastes amazing. Unlike the typical processed honey that barely resembles the original product. As its been heated at excessively high temperatures to eliminate crystals. Destroying the flavor and nutrition value of honey, among other things. I eat a tablespoon each morning to clear and soothe my throat, to help me not get sick. Use it on my hair to control and eliminate dandruff (natural anti-bacteria). And very gently apply it to my face as a natural moisturizer.
A pasty and a "Bakewell tart" flapjack. Both were pretty tasty. Pasty could have been warmer though. I should have put it in the microwave at work. The flapjack was also good, but could have done with more jam and didn't taste much like a Bakewell tart.
Next I think I will probably buy some bread, because I only have 2 end pieces left, and I would like to make some makeshift beanburgers for breakfast tomorrow.
