Alister Greymane, Imperial mage. Yes, he has grey hair. His "war paint" is a purple circlet/crown thing. It looks badass.

I swear to god I hadn't heard of the feuding families in Whiterun before choosing my character's name. I was inspired by the Greymanes, ruling family of Gilneas in the World of Warcraft. Their name is one of the few things I remember from WoW.

Though this did make it interesting when I spoke to a guy in Whiterun who asked me if I sided with the Grey-Manes or the Battle-borns.

Elmo Orly, who is a female Breton. I always have at least one character per game with customizable characters who is Elmo Orly.

And my next character will be a melee-specialist Argonian named Licks-Her-Eyes, because I promised someone I would.

My names are always lore-accurate or, at least, as close as I can get to lore-accurate with an original name.

Bahreez - My Argonian light warrior.

Olog - My Orc berserker (Two-hander).

Numendiel - My Altmer warlock.

I name my Nord Krounan Skull-Splitter. He's a Theif. I suspect his father saw a slightly different path from him.

My first save was a redgard named Qwoptimuns Extravada. He was epic, until I accidentally deleted him. Then I made a female breton mage named Phil.

Rose Hawkins, cos of course every first character has to have something to do with the game/internet name 'Rosehawka.' Hawkins sounded kinda English, which, well, only fits a tiny bit with the Nords, if you know your history. Second character Da'Kira, dark elf, ancestor of Da'raki of Cyrodil. Not only is it enough to have the Hero of Bruma in the family, but also the last Dragon Born...you'd think the Gods would share the responsibilities around a bit more

A pure mage high elf is Kiara, and my black thief/warrior Kahjit is Sissel. I rarely create names and just steal them from other places. I also have a newly created Argonian just for the sake of creating one Zweiloss. I googled to see where I pulled that kind of name from and my subconsciousness used a misspelled pokemon (If I think of something that sounds good chances are I just forgot where it was from). If you are wondering the first name is from The Lion King 2, and it's just a pretty name and the other is from Ghost Trick. That is another awesome game play it.

Tovekil Gireen, Bosmer Assassin. In Draconic it means Assassin Elf. Thought is fitting especially since I'm an Archer at heart.

I named my very first character Jurgen Windcaller, after looking at some lore for the game.

I had no idea that he'd actually appear in game.

Darja.

She's a Khajiit and a member of not only the thieves guild but also the dark brotherhood.

In other words, she likes to stab people and rob them.

Moz Tarso after the random name generated for me on KOTOR all those years ago. His favorite thing to do is stand around in full steel plate pretending to be a statue.
