uhhhh, I can't actually cook, and this thread is making me depressed hungry . . .
There's not much to cooking, if you can follow basic instructions, you can cook! Obviously experience brings better technique and stuff, but seriously, before I started uni 2 years ago I'd never made much more than bacon and eggs, and now I like to think I'm alright.

Try find a recipe for a simple tomato sauce to have with pasta, and just follow it religiously.

Back on topic, I haven't been cooking a huge amount lately, because I'm back home for Summer and my parents like to cook so I just make like, a meal a week. I made chilli con carne last week, with taco shells and rice, and tonight I'm making some cajun chicken and avocado burgers that are absolutely amazing.

Dinner: Bagel pizzas with homemade tomato spread and shredded pepper-jack cheese.
Breakfast: Fresh blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs.

I didn't make dinner yesterday for the simple reason that I was at a stag party(thumbs up for spirits, meat and handguns), but tonight I'm planning on making my extra special pasta with feta cheese.

The Mister and I made some onigiri last night. (Big ol' balls of rice!) Mister picked up a mackerel filling at the store, which I was fully prepared to hate, but it was actually super-tasty. We were going to have tuna-filled onigiri as well, but I liked the mackerel so much (and we had so much of it) that I didn't want to bother to make it. I'm not normally the one who cooks in the relationship (like, at all) but there are some things I can do well. Onigiri is one of those things.

Tonight we're having enchiladas. Mister is making them and they are the best ever. I want it to be dinnertime now.

I recently had popcorn and candy at a movie theater while watching one of our great presidents slaughter darkness dwellers.

Fun time, yes.

I havn't had any food today and it's 3:22pm. Yesterday I had a pasta pot, a can of appletiser and a bottle of kiwi and lime flavoured water.

Yeah... Endless assignments does take my mind off the hunger, however now I'm really hungry...

I recently started working night shift, which was fine when I started at 5pm, but it got bumped up to 4pm, which is far to early to eat dinner first. So for the last few weeks my dinners have consisted of an apple, a banana, and a mince pie. Its not pretty, but it does the job.

However, it's the weekend so I have time to cook, I will either make epic nachos, or go shopping and make some form of chicken, chorizo, mushroom and various veg's meal.

Food is awesome. I'm glad one of life's greatest necessities just so happens to be incredibly tasty.

Just now finished a plate of Bali chicken casserole(sp?) with rice and salad, all homemade except for the chicken fillet. Takes a little longer, but I love making food, and since it's healthier making it from scratch, it's a win-win! Also it tasted awesome.
