I got sick of having my stupid hand held. Seriously, I'm supposed to be the badass mofoin' hero, and I'm constantly being knocked off my feet or led around by the ear. The story is far-fetched and poorly implemented, the 'twist' was ridiculous and completely unbelievable, and overall I'm very disappointed with the story. I don't get why people think it's better than MW2's story; I found MW2's story far-fetched but well-presented.

Unlike BlOps.

Seriously? Soviet mind control?

One thing I didn't like was that I couldn't quite pin down the main character's accent. I'm like "Isn't he supposed to be American?" Then I realize that its Sam Worthington's voice. I don't think he's a bad actor, he just can't suppress his Australian accent for shit.

I really didn't see that twist coming near the end. I did find that guys reaction strange in the rat tunnels. So I'm talking with Reznov and all of a sudden the guy asks "me what the fuck is wrong with you?" I never talk when I play the game but when the guy said that I was like: "what the fuck? I'm talking to a friend, asshole!" It was nice how they showed the flashback of that situation in the end. That was the only semi-wow moment in the game.
Yeah, I was like that too. I was like, "Um...Reznov is right there. I'm talking to--KNIFE!" I'm glad they showed him in the flashback as well. Imagination can be a powerful thing apparently, as my Reznov was dropping people left and right. Of course, this could also explain why half the time he couldn't hit ANYTHING.

How is Woods still alive? I'm pretty sure he isn't coming back from that. And finally:

DIMITRI! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I liked how they revealed that Reznov was a hallucination - when Mason 'sees' Reznov kill Steiner but Hudson watches Mason do it while shouting "I am Viktor Reznov!"

Well Fight Club is my favorite movie, so I guess it was one of the first things I suspected. Also at one point the interegator (whose identity did still surprise me) said something like "Reznov wasn't there!" and that's what confirmed it for me.

I actually really liked it. Although some of the plot twists you could see coming from a mile away, I liked the fact that it actually required a bit of thought unlike previous CoD games which just spoon-fed you everything along the way. Plus, it was nice to see Reznov and Dmitri from W@W again.
Shame they both die, though.

Yeah, it's terribly inaccurate in terms of its depiction of guns and other equipment (many of the guns and even some of the technology and vehicles depicted in the game didn't even exist in the 60's). Plus, there are a few rage-inducing portions where your mission objectives are so terribly vague that you end up having to use trial-and-error in order to figure out what you needed to do. In the end, though, it was a fun and very enjoyable experience.

I liked how it wasn't all "America is great!, we save everyone!" but it focuses on the traumatic things a soldier sees and thinks about every day. The ending wasn't as satisfying as WaW's ending where you claimed the right of placing a flag of Victory, thus ending the war for the germans, but
Just saying "We Won"
didn't really seem that spectacular,

Also what was with the JFK video thing at the end? Did mason kill JFK or something....

And it actually had a decent story, no kidding right?

I really enjoyed it; the story was quite interesting without being overly complex. It also does a pretty good job at explaining it, unlike MW2. By the last couple of missions of was getting a bit bored with it though; it ended where it should have.
The thing I liked most about it was the fact that it was a very personal story, unlike all the others where all your objectives are just to help out with a war. The characters were pretty damn likeable as well, much to my surprise.

Well I thought the plot veered off course a little, it felt more like a confusing episode of LOST instead of the call of duty norm(bad guys! shoot!) and MW2's was better(expect I still can't wrap my head around MW2's twist, "well since my soldiers died in an attempt to prevent WW3, I'll just start it myself!") and for the most part the game felt like it was trying to copy MW2's cinematic campaign and just came off as having more cut scenes than necessary (like the entire level devoted to one cut scene) and also, I found most of the characters (except woods and reznov and to a lesser extent, your CIA boss)to be incredibly one-deminsional, like bowman and the game's major antagonists

I liked it, that prison break mission was is now my favourite mission out of any FPS ever, SKEWER THE WINGED BEAST!

The "America pwns everything" ending was a little overdone though especially how the rest was the campaign was relatively well handed just too throw in an over patriotic ending seems a little cheap and unneeded. Still ASCEND FROM DARKNESS!
