So I really liked Prometheus. It wasn't like Alien. It was more of an exploration of the Alien universe than a thriller but there was some great action and phenomenal effects thrown in. In the vein of Blade Runner there are also some serious unanswered questions. Like, why did the engineer attack them and what did David say to him? What are Davids motivations? And what did that bit at the beginning mean?
And what I really can't fathom is why so many critics disliked it?
